With big-spending City adding Samir Nasri to their squad and the side looking impressive against Tottenham on Sunday, it is thought that the England international's playing time will be limited.

Roberto Mancini is an admirer of the winger but with Nasri, David Silva, James Milner and Mario Balotelli all ahead of him in the pecking order, he may be forced to leave the Etihad Stadium to secure his international future.

The former Middlesbrough man has said he is happy at Manchester City, but he is well aware that he needs first team football if he is to secure his spot in Fabio Capello's squad for the 2012 European Championships.

Quality player. Not sure about developing him for City though.

this was also my hope, He will get games at City but with the likes of Theo, Lennon, Young and Downing playing week in week out Johnson would have to consider a loan.

Doesn't benefit us loaning a player however would rather sign a permanent option.
