So Isak and Zubi in then.

Raya
White/Timber, Saliba, Gabby, Cala
Ode, Zubi, Rice
Saka, Kai, Isak

Rest defence will search and destroy everything in transition so Isak can roam and play of Kai.

I hope he immediately **** cans our horrible scouting Stats DNA bs which couldn’t identify any promising players. All because Edu didn’t want to travel to 3rd world stadiums and do his job.

The only reason we signed anybody this summer was because Edu was in a Euros Superbru with his son paying attention to the games.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Why wouldn't he? I do sometimes wonder where these rumours that Arteta is a control freak comes from???
because last few window Arteta pushed for some players that the club were kinda not agreeing with him. but i don't mind that i prefer manager to sign players he want because he manage the squad not the DOF.

Thinks he's better than Havertz.

Liverpool and certain iterations of Chelsea (and mainly clubs abroad) have proven planning from a top down perspective is very effective though.

I feel like we are falling into the same trap as the latter Wenger years with someone too close to the day to day to see the wider picture in Arteta.

He knows it’s how to extend his stay when he keeps failing to win. Have so much power that the club is not set to move away from him easily. And this non English speaking basque dude is part of what will make Arteta more powerful

Big upgrade on edu. Guy done amazing at Socidad but will Arteta let him do his job? Probably not
He signed Arteta in 2004 if I'm not mistaken so I'm sure there's a hierarchy of respect there and Arteta will respect that in this new partnership if it materializes. We see how much respect he has for people he views as influential figures such as Pep, Poch, Moyes and Wenger. I don't see why this would be any different. It doesn't mean they'll always agree but disagreements can be productive as long as they're respectful and both sides listen in good faith.

I will sign every contract Arsenal put in front of me without reading it.
