Yes his time at utd was strange so many disagreement in space of 5 months but you can't deny his work at Brighton and Newcastle was good still our next dof should be here for few years to continue the stability off the pitch

It is shocking, how dare he have a day off during the season to do some family thing that had already been rearranged because he had to postpone because of work before.

We should have got a lot more for ESR for example and should probably have sold him a summer earlier to maximise the fee we’d have got. Fulham will sell him for £50 million if he ever moves on from there.

Thought we did ok with the ESR deal considering injuries & the fact he had barely kicked a ball for 2 years.

Highly doubt we would have got much more 12 months earlier.

I think he got head hunted both times by bigger clubs. If they offer you a much bigger salary it's very tempting.

Newcastle from Brighton was a step up.

Man U are the biggest club in England so you can see why he was interested in joining the project with Sir Jim.

Rumour has it disagreements behind the scenes over recruitment & Amorim is why he is leaving.

Not saying he is the answer but
If he did come here no reason to think he wouldn't stay for a few years if successful. We are a big club & can match the salaries of most.
