Del Piero again? We've been linked with him for years, but never actually made any concrete move.

It suggests nothing whatsoever, other than the fact that people with vivid imaginations can be very persistent.

del pierro is a good player though, but its never enough to swap him with henry. The only thing i like in del pierro is his willingness to win. When is needed a goal he does something that others cant

The news on tribal football are very unreliable. I would rather see Arsène give Aliadiere more chances than to Del Piero.

Del Piero can still play quality football, recently he showed that against Germany and Inter. But, he is getting old, and I really doubt that his transition from Italian to English football would be good. He is a living Juventus-legend aswell, and the fans still love him and want him to stay. This move is very unlikely, and I think that he is going to end his fantastic career at Juventus.

it would be like getting another bergkamp. a player who was brilliant, still has good technique but thats about it

Del Piero <-> Henry? Hell no.

The headline was meant to refer to Vieira, not Henry. It was simply meant to be a provocative headline. Sorry for any confusion. There is no way Juve can afford Henry, so don't even worry, they had to sell half their team to buy Vieira.

Del Piero would be a good addition to the team because he is an experienced head and would give a few good years to the team while having a big influence on the youngsters development in his short time here. It would also be helpful with Bergkamp leaving, offering a similar option up front, which we don't have in any of our current strikers.

Of course, he could stay there, or could turn out to be past it. But there are no guarantees in life, and if one thing's for sure, class is permanent.

How peculiar that we get linked with a Juve player just a couple of days after we drew them in the next round of the Champions League.

To be honest, the current version of Del Piero is better than the current version of Bergkamp, Del Piero can still contribute(if you had watched the match against Germany you would have known), Bergkamp can`t contribute anymore, there is a certain difference.

Yeah right, Juventus can buy almost whoever they want to, money is NEVER a question for Juventus, you should know that by now.
