Not fan. Zubimendi MLS and Scott is lightweight midfield. Without Rice there’s little physicality in our midfield. That’s why Bouaddi makes much more sense

if the price 80M we shouldn't go for him also he Sp**s fan i don't know if he'll accept joining us.

overall he good player but like 50M good PL teams need stop taking the piss. to me we need to try for Bouaddi who will very likely cost 10M less than what the best PL midfielders will.
this is Berta's M.O. Agree to terms with multiple players of the same position then go to the club to go through plan A, B, etc.

We do need a midfielder. Rice, Zubi, MLS, Merino isn't enough. Rice is gonna get spent if we play him 50+ games and I heard Merino will be emergency ST mostly.

4 may not be deemed enough by some, but 5 is too many. Particularly when you can include the likes of eze, Ødegaard and havertz coming into the midfield duo - in a similar fashion to merino being an emergency cf or mls and emergency lb.

If the right player is available then great, however filler like Scott is going to see him spend some initial time in the stands before injuries (do or do not) take their toll.

I would rather keep Nørgaard, then spend money unopposed like city have in the january market if needed.

Winter signings seldom work out. Clubs tend to demand premium prices, and players often do not have enough time to adapt and make a real impact.

I would rather see all of the major business done in the summer, and then use the winter window to sign promising youngsters rather than players expected to make an immediate difference.

I'm actually all for this. He was different gravy for Bristol City, and it looks like he has taken the next step.

Knowing he's a Sp**s fan doesn't faze me at all. In fact, I think it makes it sweeter knowing one of the few talented Sp**s fans would ditch the fandom to come here.

It'd be like going to Disneyland as a kid and finding out your favourite character is just a 55-year-old chainsmoker in a suit. It would be morale-crushing for that lot

"No Sp**s fans" should be part of the criteria for any potential recruit.

I think we can sign him but then every time we play a north London derby and score the players should give it to him in his face and bundle him to the floor. Eventually we will beat it out of him.

Looking at his mazy runs is very impressive. It's something we don't really have, he seems a better dribbler than Ødegaard
