It would make a lot of sense if both leave. However aside from Calvert Lewin he's the perfect striker signing for our current system. Elegant player for one so tall.

If we want him it is now or never.

He's £26M for Dortmund to buy back and currently has a £60M release clause. So you could probably get a nice deal on him right now at around £45M, maybe even £40M. Sociedad will be wanting to sell for more than Dortmund can buy him back for.

Clever business would be to do it and sign Ødegaard on a loan with option to buy instead of spending the money directly on Ødegaard.

It could be a situation where Sociedad would take not too much money, but more than the Dortmund buy back clause so they don’t have to sell him back to them for a low fee.

Maybe 35-40m does it. Issue is we’re slow ****ers.
