Alexander Isak

Can't think of a better suited striker than Isak really. In the league anyways.

Does a little bit of everything, can play in a variety of positions (I only like him at CF). I have doubts about his numbers and his reliability for the price he would command.

We should have been braver when he was at Real Sociedad for a better risk/reward proposition.
Arsenal fans deserve to have Kai as their main CF for a couple more years imo after all that gaslighting from the usual suspects.

Isak is great but as @OnlyOne says not sure he’s what Arteta wants in a 9.

He’d spend the majority of his time back to goal and fighting with CBs rather than making runs as we rarely ever play the ball in behind.

Yeah that's the thing, he's not a box monster like Osimhen who can make something out of nothing just with his athleticism and power, Isak can but he has to have the ball at his feet facing his opponent.

That being said not many fit the bill so Isak might be the next best thing.

We don’t deserve to suffer cause we have loud minority of crazy fans. Besides havertz can stay as second choice striker and they can watch him in the cups fighting CBs

Spending huge money on this guy is a sureshot redflag. His injury record is extremely poor for the amount Newcastle will ask for him. Rather go big on someone like Kvara or Lautaro Martinez.

He's missed 16 league games through injury in 3 years in the premier league

I think it's more a question of if we can get more for the money by spending it differently.

£150m is a lot of eggs in one basket. It would be strange not to query if it's wise.

I like the player, and I think he'd do very well here.

He's missed 16 league games for Newcastle in 3 seasons through injury. 11 of which came when he first joined, so it's very good actually.

Respectfully, can you not read? Transfermarkt clearly shows him missing the following games in each season for Newcastle:
  • 2022/23 - 19 games
  • 2023/24 - 12 games
  • 2024/25 - 7 games
For a total of 38 games. That is a terrible injury record.

Trending the right way though 🍿

(I agree btw, £150m is too much for him with this orange flag, there’s other fish in that sea)

Arsenal Quotes

I've got the best goalkeeper and the best centre half. All I need are the best wingers and the best forward. It doesnt matter what the rest are like.
