Agreed we need a winger that can hug the touchline but we also need one that can score goals because at the minute we only have two goal scorers in the team and we're far too reliant on them. We essentially need the perfect winger really  Iwobi, Aubameyang and Mkhi are all players that would rather play in the middle third of the pitch and none of them look comfortable on the right.

Xhaka does usually move the ball quickly but he has just never been able to go on a run of games without making a mistake. I'm happy with him as a squad player but if we want to challenge for titles in the coming seasons we need to upgrade. I'm desperate for Ndombele, he is more than adequate defensively whilst capable of playing a defence splitting pass and has incredible dribbling. Boubakary Soumare is also a similar player that we should keep an eye on.

We desperately need a new left back, they can add so much quality to a team. Robertson, Mendy and Alonso have all had massive impacts for their clubs.
Don't think we need classic touchline wingers neccesarily. We just need full backs better at doing that job. Sterling and Sane should be closer to our blueprint - pace and dribbling without necessarily staying wide the whole time.

For him to work, you need two outlets on the wing. He should base his game on Firmino. A striker that can’t get on to through balls or long balls will always handicap you, he can’t score “easy” goals that the top strikers get for fun.

Sane is the archetypical touchline-hugger these days, very few players (if any) in world football offer as much width as him. It's just that he isn't useless when he gets the ball more centrally, but that's a different issue.

Alexandre Lacazette will replace Martial whilst Moussa Sissoko will take the place of the injured Paul Pogba. (France Football)
Now the detractors will say that making the France squad is nothing to shout about.

Got to keep up with these super goals if he wants to stay in the France squad. More performances of last year Lacazette like yesterday and they will look past him like a ghost again.

Lacazette was initially called up to the France squad earlier today to replace Martial, however the Arsenal forward is now a no-go after talks between the national team and Arsenal’s medical staff.

why do I get the feeling after being overlooked for the WC squad he told them to sod off
Highly likely tbh and due to the amount of minutes he's had in recent weeks, he's probably looking forward to resting rather than sitting on the bench for France as they've called up Giroud, Griezmann and M'Bappe.
