Seriously, just keep and play Aubameyang for 6 months.

Why panic and try to sign/bed in a striker not getting game time elsewhere when we already have one.

Most teams seem to have these '****ty tactics'. Modern strikers are expected to hold up the ball, link up and create space for wide forwards. Liverpool used 1 in 3 Firminho into play Salah and Mane from the wings. Man City aren't even playing with a CF these days. Prime Real used Benzema to bring CR7 into play. Prime Barce used Messi to drop deep too

All that aside the bottom line is Aubameyang no longer has the stamina to press and also run into the box. You never see him making runs in behind anymore. Maybe if he had a manager who said 'don't worry about pressing just focus on running in behind' he'd still be able to score. But that alone isn't a given.
Arsenal Mania logic. Roberto Firmino 'only' scored 70 in 224 prem games = shiiiit.

Auba now is basically what Owen was during his Manu Utd and Stoke days.

Without knowing much about Cabral he just feels like a much more creative solution than Morata.

Under 25 which has been the main criteria since last summer.
Better resale value and easier to get rid of if he fails.
Brazilian so Edu should be able to reach him no?
Probably demands lower wages too.

Best post you’ve made in over 4 years and 2 months.

What pressing do we do and you think morata is gonna be in the box? Dude it’s fvcking morata. We have 10 years evidence of his career. Not some unknown player we haven’t watched. If he is such a modern striker why does juve want to have Auba instead of him? You really think dumbass Arteta knows more than Allegri?

Instead ring Giroud and find out what he is upto :/
Juve has history of this with Spanish teams tbh. Arthur for 72 million euros after he flopped at Barca who got him for 30 million euros is the most obvious one

Looking for receipts 👀
Scoring 1 in 3 isn't a flop. Bergkamp had a 1 in 4 ratio ffs. Was he a flop? It was more of a case that Chelsea paid over the odds for a young up and coming talent. But that didn't matter anyway because Chelsea made their money back on him.

FFS he has 50 caps and 23 goals for one of the best international teams ever.
People who focus on stats obviously spend more time playing fifa than actually watching football.

The fact that you even uttered Bergkamp in the same sentence as Morata shows it all.

Morata is a poor player. He certainly isn't a player who will move us forward. Does he create? No. Is his hold up and linking play good? No. Is he strong for being a relatively decent size of a lad. No.

There is no surprise he has been pushed around from Real to Juve to Atletico and back around again.

Again....Spain. One of the best international teams ever? They were maybe 10-15 years ago. They are poverty at the moment. Some might say but they made the semi finals or whatever. But they aren't good. Morata doesn't start for England, nor France nor Portugal, not Italy. He doesn't start for Belgium either.

He is not a good player and certainly after failing at Chelsea and being a laughing stock is not someone we need right now.

I'd rather Joelinton fs.

One thing people forget with this link. We didn’t seek Morata. Reports are saying juve has contacted us, Sp**s and Newcastle and offered him. Basically they have targeted : clubs who are in mess as they are desperate to get rid of him

Madrid, Athletico, Chelsea and Juve keep spending a fortune on him. but spastics like Lee Gunner from Arsenal Fan TV know better than those clubs. Ok.....
& at 29 he is being 'offered' out on loan to likes of Sp**s, Arsenal & Newcastle 🤷‍♂️... not even we are in for him but just offered

There’s also not even the slightest thing pointing towards us signing him. The only link is the one you mentioned, he was offered. Nobody has suggested we actually want him.

People are getting worked up for nothing.

I'm not talking about Morata I'm talking about the only way Auba can be effective is to make runs in behind and he can't do that anymore. At least he can't do it while pressing and Arteta is demanding we press as a team and drop back into a parked bus as a team.

What Morata brings is the ability to run the channels, dribble, hold up the ball and bring teammates into play. Auba won't do those things. He also has far better stamina than Auba/Laca, at least he did in the past.

As for whether Allegri can judge better than Arteta. Well maybe Allegri has misjudged a player who has regressed massively. Maybe Allegri plans to allow Auba a luxury role where he doesn't need to defend. Maybe Allegri thinks it's easier for a striker that's failing in English PL to shine in Serie A

Allegri also has Vlahovic, Dybala and Kean

But who knows we might not be in for Morata and Juve may not be in for Auba

Tbf to morata whilst i dont want him here, he is not a bad player at all. Auba has a great scoring HISTORY but it means nothing compared to morata trophy cabinet. And at the end of the day that is all that matters in football. Morata has played for the biggest clubs in the world and auba hasnt had a sniff.

I would take a happy medium on this. Laca out and morata and auba for the rest of the season.

The closer you get to deadline the more desperate clubs will become. Arsenal and Sp**s are the two most desperate clubs right now. Less than 60 hours left on the window and I can see Arsenal taking Morata as he is another body and better than no one. Again I hope the club stays strong and tell Arteta either bring back Auba or use what you have and if you don’t get top 4. You gone. The chance of actually signing a striker is gone imo unless we meet someone’s release clause. Morata is strong possibility
