Got this from the lobby, and although doesn't have anything to do with Senna, they played in the same position.

The midfielder, Werder Bremen (Bundesliga), Amaury Bischoff, 21 years, will engage with the Gunners of Arsenal (Premier League) in the coming days. A new stage in the career of former Colmarien and Strasbourg.
Already contacted six months ago by Arsenal, Amaury Bischoff has decided to pass the course. It will no longer be in Bremen next year. The Colmarien today went to London where he will meet leaders of the Gunners.
"There are still some details to finalize. And then we wait especially the return of Arsène Wenger who is in Vienna for the final of the Euro, "says Bischoff. But I hope to sign within the next few days. "

Some more info from Bremen's official site:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.werder.de/team/spieler/bischoff.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.werder.de/team/spieler/bischoff.php</a>

Judging by his height and weight, he should be the dynamic type of midfielder.

A like for like replacement for Flamini then. If this is true, then I wonder if Wenger is going to buy a commanding centre back after this, or just bite the bullet and play Gilberto against teams like Chelsea who employ big target men. If it's the latter then I can't really blame him for not getting a CB, the prices being quoted for people like Zapata are unbelievable.

I'm with pat. This seems like a classic Wenger move. It just wouldn't be an Arsenal summer without one ostensibly mystifying signing.

Apart from I don't think Bischoff has even played for the Werder Bremen first team. Also sounds like he's been on the sidelines for a long time due to injury.

Never heard of him. Young. Foreign.

Well he's certainly ticking all the Wenger boxes.
