And to be honest Bendtner's first touch isn't lousy anymore. Get with the times klausie!

do you rate him about Dzeko? what of Chamakh?
I rate Chamakh very highly but it looks unlikely that he's available in january. I really, really wanted him in the summer though. With him we would have an excellent option all across the attacking line. He's an intelligent player that brings out the best in the attacking players surrounding him - just ask Gourcuff who he thinks is the best striker he's played with in his club career.

Best player we've been linked with so far for january. Ticks all the boxes soo, including being available for Champions League.
Does it tick the 'Can also play on the wings in a 4-3-3' box?
Probably not. He's a centreforward if I've ever seen one. Gignac would potentially be the best centreforward we've got, though. Signing him would probably put an end to Bendtner's whereabouts at Arsenal.

I think AW sees Nik as having the same qualities as what you describe about Chamakh & that's why he didn't push harder for him, although Chamakh is more comfortable on the flank & taking defenders on from what I've read.

IMO Nik's touch is fine when playing deeper as link, but it tends to bee a bit heavy when he's trying to retain the ball playing higher up the line.

Whats his injury record like?

Most important question these days I think.

If he's had more than three bruises during his entire life don't sign him, he'll probably break his fingers signing the contract.

A typical striker. When he has the ball he looks for the goal right away. Not sure he's what we need though. His link up play is quite average.

"I am here at Toulouse, so I cannot comment on any newspaper talks," he said.

"If there's an offer for me then Toulouse will need to consider it.

"I'm open to a move abroad. It's an ambition on mine to play abroad, but it's not the end of the world."

agreed.. Dzeko is a dead start.. Cognac is more likely, but still not likely as his price is probably too high

Seems open to moving.

Re: Andre-Pierre Gignac

Gignac would be awesome with us. He's very direct, not messing around in the box with unnecessary passes. If the ball is at his feet and he has a sniff at the goalposts, he'll let one fly. If we could turn Henry and Adebayor into goalscoring machines with the bazillion chances our midfield creates, Gignac can be at least better than Ade.

Scored two absolutely clinical goals this week against Sochaux:

Both times he was very sharp and opportunistic, capitalizing on poor backpasses or defensive errors and scoring with quick, lethal finishes.

Re: Andre-Pierre Gignac

One is a clinical goal poacher who is strong and can hold up play,

the other is a player more of a link man.

Re: Andre-Pierre Gignac

Good player, sounds a lot more likely than Dzeko or Villa, and Chamakh will not move in Jan so makes sense. Speaking of Toulouse a move for Sissoko would be very much welcomed.
