Now that the Vini deal is in the toilet, I could really use a mudryk to Trossard style pivot right now.

Where we barely have time to feel sorry for ourselves before getting another player in the door.

I know whoever we pivot to will be a step down in comparison, but at least it will be something!

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆

Are we that serious? You suggest a guy who been 2 years out of football?

There so many above average and decent wingers that have good experience just sign one of them and try again for elite winger in two years time

I dont think they're saying to get Mudryk. They're saying we need to pivot quickly from Vini to another player, like we pivoted from Mudryk to Trossard.

Ah I thought he suggests Mudryk lol my bad.

Imo at the moment all we can do is to try be creative or try for Alvarez

Agreed otherwise don't panic and look to next summer. Don't get all fomo as a fanbase. You can be critical of the strategies of only identifying 3 players but we don't need to pull another noni impact level player here

It’s not over yet for Vini Jr, but I reckon he’ll stay in Madrid. I understand that if the chance arises to sign a player like that, you have to give it a go. I’m just curious now – if he does extend his contract, who will we sign then?

Diomande’s gone; the only theoretical options I can see now are Barcola (if he doesn’t go to Liverpool) and Yildiz (Juve probably don’t want to let go).
It would be very amateurish if we’d only had Vini as an option and no alternative. With our current attack, we won’t win the league again, despite having the best defence and the best midfield with Bruno G.

Something needs to happen up front; I can’t watch Martinelli, Noni and Gyo together again this season…

Barcola is the most obvious pivot here, if the club actually want him then expect to see the links surfacing very soon. I'd try for Kroupi and shift Eze left for a season like the original plan

You obviously don't follow news.
Kroupi is out for 3 to 4 months due to injury.

Would be such a waste to have a world class midfield and backline just to complement it with a grassroots forward line.

We might not see a Garbriel-Saliba-Rice-Bruno spine for a very long time.
With quality upfront that is a team that people would sing songs about for 50 years

If we go by reported interest it should be Barcola or Alvarez who they target but both have their complications. PSG want outrageous money and Alvarez favours a move elsewhere. There isn't much else out there short of trying to get Williams to leave Bilbao (but he has been **** for a while), or bully Juve for Yildiz.

Can’t see the club going for anyone else bar Alvarez now.

We know we have superstar money available so maybe there’s a player they’ll have lined up for next season. Don’t see us going near Barcola.

Attack looks so bleak man.

Yildiz is the only one that would bring some excitement for me.
The dr. Evil-money needed for Barcola would just piss me off.
Alvarez would be a square peg in Barcelona transit.
Williams is a fraud.

You can’t just stick Alvarez at LW though so it still doesn’t solve that area. Tough to swallow if he renews cos Vini is by far and away the most suitable target for what the team actually needs.
