I could see Nwaneri going on loan again or getting sold with a buy back option, but I don't think we'll flat out sell him.

I think a loan to Como might be ideal for him. They are in the Champions League next season and Cesc would definitely take care of him.

I don't think we'll sell him because even though we have a lot of AMs, I don't think our AM situation has been completely figured out. We have Ødegaard, Eze, Merino, and Dowman who can play there, but I don't think we have clear hierarchy or starter.

Prior to this season, Ødegaard has been our clear #1, but his from has dipped a lot and he needs to step it up. Eze can also play AM, but it is unclear if that is his best position for us. Eze can play LW and AM. Merino is kind of a wildcard. He was supposed to be our backup B2B, then he became our backup CF, and then out of the blue he became the starting AM for Spain. Also, Dowman is too young to be a starter for us, but he's so good that anything is possible.

With four options at AM, it probably makes more sense of Nwaneri to go on loan so that he can get guaranteed minutes. By the end of next season, I think our AM position should be sorted and someone will probably get sold. That could be the perfect time for Nwaneri to make his mark on the team after a successful loan.

I feel like you’re just saying this because you aren’t a fan. I haven’t heard this rhetoric at all.

Why would he play if he doesn’t listen to the manager? Why would he do that if he so badly wanted the mood? It doesn’t even make sense and I know a couple Barca fans who say the only issue is his wages.

I will say that I view Rashford under the lens of being a squad player. I think he’s better than what we have but I’d be disappointed if he was our only wing signing.

Go check a Barce forum if you don't believe me. That's largely why they don't want him. Everything consistent with Rashford criticism from fans that watch him is defensive running both from United and Barce fans.

I think some of you don't get where the market is right now, the PL revenues go up every year and that pushes transfer fees up every year. And Isaak was £120-130m last season, Wirtz was 125m Euros. Young 23yo PL proven player with potential like Rogers, how many players are there like this?

So you rate the Isaak or Wirtz transfer as success?

I know where the market is. But I don't rate Rogers as £120m investment for our LW positions. Get a "real" winger for that and I am ok with paying $120m or even more. If we can get Kvara for £120m lets buy him.

I mean quite simply if he was good enough Barca would be keeping him.

Instead they signed Anthony Gordon apparently the bum of AM who was wanted by Bayern, Barca and us for £70m.
