That's not the indication I'm getting from Bournemouth - they're going to fight tooth and nail to keep him. The same thing happened with Semenyo.

Just watched a few clips and he looks pretty smooth on the ball

I’ll be honest in terms of recruitment of exciting prospects or under the radar signings then I can’t really hate on what the club are trying to do. If we find the right balance to spend big on what we need and try to couple that with talents who will breakthrough in the next few years then I’ll be happy. At least they’re trying a ting, whether it works out or not is a different story but the effort is there to switch things up.

This Micheli fella we brought in who I’m assuming Berta probably wanted here and was mentioned in the Tzolis article kind of shows the club are moving smart. His CV was pretty solid overall at Napoli and he was credited for identifying a lot of those players they brought in from Kvara, Hamsik, Lobotka, Zielinski, Koulibaly, Kim Min-Jae and quite a few others. Sure they will be misses but generally he sounds like a football man to me unlike Edu and others back then who were focusing their efforts on Marquinhos.

Can see him moving within the Prem and he strikes me as the sort of guy who wont coast on the wages at Arsenal.

If i was one of the teams coming up he'd be my number 1 target, for similar reasons to Xhaka being so important for Sunderland.

It’s the best window in ages in terms of the names we’re linked with. It’s just that Tzolis bomba that gives me a bad feeling that we’re going to try and outsmart the market in the one position where we can afford to and should be paying a premium for pure quality.

Yeah definitely, Tzolis is the odd one out for sure. Could work out but feels like an unnecessary gamble. Monga looks brilliant, all up for that but Tzolis just feels like a squad filler to me, not what we need. Keep Trossard for another season until someone genuinely game changing is available.

Not sure about Scott either tbh, not for what he would cost. If he's £80m or whatever he needs another season of brilliance for me.

He wouldn't make sense as an early signing anyway. Keep the pennies in case the market starts to move and an opportunity comes up. Imagine turning down a big opportunity because you blew a chunk of change on Tzolis early doors...

This does all seem in keeping with the spinning many plates method Berta reportedly uses. CM and LW we are linked with multiple reasonable options

Strong rumours we want a striker but it's silent ATM on that front...
