You can argue not signing Semenyo was poor.

I know we have a lot of attackers right now but does that matter for 6 months?

In the summer we are offloading both Jesus and probably (surely) Martinelli. We will want a quality attacker.

We would have not let city strengthen + sort out a summer signing early. I really regret not signing him.
If we don’t sign a high ceiling LW in summer then missing out on Semenyo was very silly.

I have faith in the club that we let him go because we need someone younger and with a higher ceiling.

I'm so glad we never hired Thierry as I really, really do not want to berate a club legend and one of the greatest ever. But, I would if I had to..

People talk him up as a coach on here for some reason but same people would kill him if he waa a manager here.

We needed those semen yo!

Berta better be cooking something for the summer. Dembele or Vincy Jr I think.

We never actually do that though. People said we shouldn’t have signed Cunha last January because we’ll get someone better in the summer, then we went on to sign Eze, Gyokeres and Madueke for £174m. Meanwhile Ekitike (15 G/A) and Kudus (9 G/A in a genuinely crap team) went for a combined £134m.

Bro I’m not really a fan of our transfer window to be honest. I’m a fan of the profiles we signed but the names aren’t great when you look at who we could have got and I stand by us only needing one of Eze/Noni.

Madueke’s a difficult one to criticise because he’s looked decent but Kudus is a better player and more versatile, same as Semenyo. Kudus was there on a plate and Semenyo would have been a simple case of letting Ethan cover Saka until January. Maybe Arteta hates Ghanaians after Partey.

As for Hugo I just don’t wanna talk about it, it took 5 mins of research to see that he was the best striker available last summer if someone like Isak is your first choice.

Semenyo is 26, I doubt he has much room for improvement if at all. I want us to target a winger that's on the cusp of exploding.

This club will never beat the allegations when it comes to signing attacking talent 😭

Don’t know if we necessarily need someone with a higher ceiling. Any winger with some pace and composure in front of goal would be such a massive upgrade for this team.

I think I’d be happy with Semenyo. But I guess now we really need to get someone special in summer
