I wouldn't mind finding another LW like we found Tzolis. What was thought as a punt turned out to be a dawg. Eze is clearly not comfortable in that role, maybe he will be.

Spending well over 100m seems silly for some of these players. Rogers looks like a psychopath with Chelsea. Mudryk must've been late with his Uber Eats delivery.

Gent, Genk and Brugge are doing a really good job of developing players at the moment and buying from them doesn't cost a fortune comparatively to elsewhere.

If I had to guess, I would say that Yildiz next summer will be the LW signing. His case seems the opposite to Vini and Alvarez where it was his club that prevented a sale rather than him not wanting to join us and they may be more amenable to a sale next summer. I think Kroupi and Yildiz in with Gyok out in the next 12 months would be great business.

They won't sell to us
If they're put in a position where he won't extend and he forces the issue, they probably have to rather than lose him for nothing. We should be trying to force their hand. That's how the Champions of England should be moving. Nobody is turning down significant pure profit (particularly them with their enormous outlay last summer) to avoid selling to a "rival" they're presently nowhere near.

18months on his deal in January and they tight with SCR and he'd be pure profit
Yeah he’s a Londoner as well. You speak to him and his people every day to force the move by rejecting new contract. Last time I went to Liverpool I felt unsafe, looked like 3rd world country. He can’t be happy there

Edit: He already agreed extension to 2031 kicking in when he’s 18. Nevermind

If the club convince him to join Arsenal and he gives them the ultimatum of Arsenal for a transfer or Arsenal on a free, they'll sell. How do you think players get to clubs that their club doesn't want to sell them to. You think Newcastle wanted to sell Bruno to us?

Arsenal Quotes

When I arrive at the gates of Heaven the Good Lord will ask "What did you do in your life?"
I will respond "I tried to win football matches."
He will say: "Are you certain that's all?"
"Well, that's the story of my life. It is not easy to win football matches, you know."
