I don't buy the whole 4 forwards theory.

I presume the idea is:
Madueke for Sterling.
Sesko/Gyokeres for Jesus.
Eze for Trossard.
Rodrygo for Martinelli.

At that stage you're completely overhauling your team, and while some people may think that's the way to go, that will come with a massive transition.
That's 4 forwards having to learn our way of playing from scratch. One of them would have to hit the ground running immediately and start the season on the left.
We've got a tough start of the season so there will be no bedding period.

Yep. Jack spent just 4 months at Bolton but I get your point. Someone would need to leave before he gets back, which would mean a longer loan.

Buddy you're living a fantasy if you think Chelsea will let go of Madueke for 40M. They will take us to the cleaners as usual.

Odd summer so far. Appreciate we still have heavy links to LW and CF which let's be honest, are the only two positions where there are clear upgrades but it's been a summer of back-ups so far (again).

No idea why a RW back up and CB back up couldn't have been bought last summer? What about Jan?
Seems too little too late given what happened last season.

100M on back ups already, could be 150M if we sign Noni.

I won't have complaints if we still get that top LW and CF because it would be a nice overhaul of the attack but it's feeling doubtful we get the quality (Rodyrgo) we'd actually want.

Only because recent history suggest there's no chance of that happening. So far it looks like we are following the pattern of settling on the easy approach, Chelsea players.

Also that lot doesn't solve the biggest issue which is LW for me. Be pretty happy with it though, Eze is a baller and Gyokeres should be a big upgrade.

Just really want Martinelli and Trossard both gone and replaced with someone elite and Madueke strongly suggests that won't happen - I think that's what has people triggered.
