We’re about to sign Gyökeres and Madueke. Not exactly creative technicians. I think our business ends there.

Gives us a lot more transition threat which is probably something they wanted to address.

The main thing we need though proven top level quality that can help us break down defences, and neither of these guys are that.

This is where we're at.

And then there's the option the Nwaneri pushes too hard with demands, will be sold and Eze comes in (highly unlikely)

And there's the option that we make a push for Rodrygo if we can find a buyer for Martinelli (very unlikely and complicated)

There won't be a scenario with Martinelli + Rodrygo at this club sadly (for example instead of Madueke, which we were hoping for)
and
There is no scenario where Eze comes in as LW (for Trossard).
It makes sense now. It's a bit tough after we've tricked ourselves in believing Ethan could be our 2nd LW (which would have made space for Eze instead of Madueke) or even a wildcard (23rd player, so that we'd get Rodrygo or Madueke + Eze) but neither the player nor the club see him in that role anymore.
Ethan will get a serious contract and be a 10 and that's fine.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
The athletic linked today with Lookman I really like the player but after linked with Eze and Rodrygo it'll be underwhelming

I’m not sure I see Martinelli or Trossard leaving unless Trossard gets offered crazy money at his age. But he seems like the type of guy that values this level of competition more than that.

Trossard is stalling on signing a new contract so he's definitely interested in the money.

Well yeah but probably to get the most out of us. I don’t think he’s done in england. But who know maybe an italian clubs could swoop him and offer him a long attractive deal. I’d rather that happen than lose Gabi tbh.

Problem is we have a 10/10 defense, a 9/10 midfield but our attack will remain 7/10 and rely on Saka for world class actions.
Because Isak and Alvarez are tied up with long term contracts, there's no one that could change that at ST. I still hope we get Rodrygo in place of Martinelli to have more X factor.
Madueke Trossard and Nwaneri as creative options from the bench is good but not world class. Rather would have a Martinelli or Eze to come on but that would be bad business, I guess.

Spot on. Our business ends with Gyok and Noni unless some of Nelli/Tross gets sold and Nwaneri wants more game time and gets loaned out/sold. Unfortunately that is the reality and most likely we will be left with the same LW players who's been part of a non-functioning left side and a team who's failed 3 years in a row to push for the Premier League.

We can not ignore our left side massive upgrade is needed to win some gold if not we know where we stand as a club.

Sure but we know how Arsenal operates. Time after time leaves some unfinished business. Time after time when a little push is needed, our team and manager are left hanging. Even when you go back to Wenger days. It is what it is. I don't expect it to change.

Time for a new owner they will always keep us short.

It doesn’t help when the manager is self obsessed and doesn’t prioritise the correct players.

The defensive signings were needed and there is still to do there. Don't think that's the issue. Anyway everyone has their own opinions.

We could have done without Kai and Calafiori. The interest in Madueke screams of similar type of signing.

No one gets it right all of the time; and I even think they’re good players, but they were signed for the purpose of Mikel scratching a tactical itch more than anything.

Transfer window shaping up nicely would be whole happy if we added Rodygo/Eze and maybe a cheap good potential young attacker on top of Nørgaard, Zubi, Gyok and Kepa.

Unfortunately, it sounds if Eze is probably off unless Nwaneri leaves and we are getting close to meeting Chelsea's valuation of Manueke. And good luck with us meeting Rodrygo's valuation if he decides to leave.
