I’m not gonna slam the window before it’s shut, I’m more annoyed at the lack of any tactical changes when facing low blocks. That’s something that is 100% in his control. There was no rotations, no lateral movement to open up spaces, no early releases, nothing. It was peak haraamball fs.

The window bashing will come in due course though I’m sure.
Liverpool have smacked this window out the park even without Isak - we are reliant on Zubi, Madueke and Gyok being exactly/more than what they promise.

The squad is in better shape than last season to me that what important we added some refreshment in attack we still need one more because our left side is dead.

There still one month to go and most of our transfers is done now it's up to Mikel and coaching staff to do well.

Looking at pre season and how we play is just reading too much to it specially when you play PL sides you can't experiment new things they know your style

This summer was so simple, but it’s looking bleak. Can’t trust this Arteta weirdo with transfers. Dropping 50mil on Madueke for a ‘back up RW’ is absolutely shambolic. His fingerprints are all over that signing.

Eze, Gyokeres and a Top LW should have been the priority. Ethan and eventually Dowman could cover for Saka.

Arteta said he had ‘goosebumps’ thinking about this summer window. What a joke.
Yeh agree he has dropped the ball massively. This time it is highlighted so much because Liverpool have had a storming window.

It’s made me look at the manager differently tbh. I thought he learnt that our primary issues last season were attacking spark and creativity as well as goals.

We have brought in a goalscorer (sounds like Berta pushed this or he woulda signed another vegan CF in Sesko), but I don’t think he’s solving the LW issue or general creativity.

We should have been in this conversation for Isak too after waiting 2 ****ing years.

Unpopular opinion, but all our creativity problems started since Xhaka left and Rice arrived. I won't get tired of saying Rice doesn't help with creativity in final third. I am not saying he is bad but Mikel is so blind, stubborn and coward he can't risk playing with two AMs or let Ødegaard or whoever you play as 10 free to move wherever he wants like Özil did. That simple change reverting to a classic 4231 with Zubi and Rice playing CMs and with a offensive LW and a dedicated 10 would be more beneficial to us than keep trying Rice to mimic Dhaka because he can't.

yepp exactly, should play with 4231 we can put rice double pivot with zubimendi because if we put rice (who not good on the ball) play at DM alone then will affect our build up especially rice is not partey who very good on the ball when play at DM, totally make sense

All the creativity thing he talked about in interviews is pure BS if he keeps trying the same thing over and over. Our players being completely lethargic off the ball, walking around the box is his thing. Then we lose the ball and he becomes a freaking maniac asking them to run like madmen behind the ball. That's his mentality, run behind the ball and walk with it to rest. That duel winning thing thing is worthless if we end every play with a cross from the right.

Ødegaard would be the most benefit for that lineup. The game against PSV in UCL, I won't forget it because Ødegaard moved freely not just restricted to the left and he looked like a whole different player. Nwaneri also, playing as RW didn't play touchline winger but as rebel he is, moved freely around the pitch. That's players creativity that modern managers love to cut out.

First goal, Timber provided the amplitude as FB and closed the play scoring. Second goal Nwaneri cuts inside pushing Ødegaard to move out from the right zone he is sticked to. He moved more like a classic 10 in the box making the space to let Nwaneri shot and goal.

Ødegaard heavily one footed because the quality of his right foot absolutely poor which is why if he want make line breaking pass like through pass in final third or linked up play then he must play at LCM position

Yeah, the match yesterday was horrific. It’s a combination of ‘haraamball’ and what’s looking like a poverty summer.

Madueke’s got my support now he’s an Arsenal player, but was he really needed? Because now we’re hearing the usual ‘1 in 1 out’ bollox being reported by the media in regards to bringing in a LW. Really annoying.

We’d rather improve our depth, than bringing in proper quality by the looks of it. Really weird stuff, I don’t get it. This summer was so simple, because it’s obvious what we need, yet Arteta’s doing that galaxy brain sh*te again ffs. Guys a freak.

They know your style so you play exactly the same way?
Whatever we play they know our players we basically played direct all 1st half against Sp**s that something I didn't see before but still Sp**s had no issue to just bully Kai and was successful.
