Athletic linked us a while ago, let’s do papa Wenger a favour and sign his boy Lookuhhman.

Would easily bench all three wide options we currently have. Really strange from the club that they haven’t put themselves in there for him:

Feel like it’s another one of those they’re not interested because there’s “no resale value” type of stances.

I just don’t understand why this stupid club is so pressed about resale value, it’s not like we ever sell players with any value anyways smh

Facts. Got a feeling that’s the case with him as The Athletic article which was posted a few weeks back said they’re unwilling to meet Atalanta’s valuation. It’s reportedly €50m which is nothing in this market tbf:

It’s always some nonsense with them but you know what I find even more jarring, those who try and shift the goalposts for their BS. Like they wouldn’t have even had to scramble around for a LW in this window had they pre planned and got rid of Martinelli 12-18 months ago. People can keep on saying the likes of Kvara, Doue and others weren’t available but who knows if you get in ahead of the curve and tie them up early instead of hoping a limited player turns it around. Feel like we’re making the same mistake with Ødegaard now too.

It sure doesn't feel like £192m

We will sell some players so it will be down to 100 or something like that amazing spending spree by KSE.

That's the most frustrating thing

We keep finding ways to be near the top of these charts without improving the first XI. Surely it's better to build a team that can win the league and hope for luck with injuries? Instead we're building a team that can handle injuries to any player but isn't good enough even if everyone is fit.

Like the club have stood on business with Madueke, Havertz etc and didn’t care about what the fans would think then they should be willing to do the same the other way. It shouldn’t take a falling out or someone’s value getting tanked to get sold.

But then again many clubs have kept their flops, then sold them in their worst form and still gotten good value on it.

We are just bad at selling, period.

Nunez scored 5 league goals last season. Liverpool getting 70m for him is just insane.

Porto's offer for Kiwior sums up how other clubs view our players.

Yeah. Just imagine Havertz being with us instead of Chelsea. Woull be going on a dry loan to Sttugart after what he procued and what the club/fans thought of him.

Nunez and Martinelli have almost the same stats and same salary with Martinelli being younger and guess who'll be changing clubs for 60m pounds this season.

I don't see anything in those clips that Eze couldn't/wouldn't do. I'd rather just buy him ( I now he's not a left winger etc but he can play there and other positions too).

Yeah I’m messing tbh, I really rate Zubi.

Really need Eze though to push Ode. At least Im expecting us then to have a good width on all fronts and strong squad. We will compete but fall short somewhere again unless Madders does madness on the left.

Maverick or x-factor player on the left has to wait for the new manager next season I guess.
