But you support Arsenal not Arteta?

Have you ever seen a player score a banger and immediately google if he's had any behavioral problems or opened their front door barefoot? Because this is where I'm at.

I don't have much of an eye for these things anyways.

Yeah in fairness the amount of background stuff they do... Surprised we are linked with Simon's in that sense

I find it difficult as I am totally indifferent to whoever Arteta signs.

In 3 years time when you lot are fed up with Raya and Joan Garcia is the best keeper in the world at Barcelona you won't be saying "nah don't fancy that don't buy a second keeper"
Or in 3 years when he’s at Barca but on loan at Girona or Alaves, meanwhile Setford is lined up as Englands new number one, and we’ve still got guys like Porter coming through.
It’s 3 years, mate, a lot can change in football. Look at Meslier - 3/4 years ago we were linked with him, considered one of goalkeeping’s top prospects, now Leeds fans don’t want to see his name on the team sheet because he has howlers every week.
£25m on a backup keeper is a lot of money when we need a CF, LW, CM, and probably a CB.

But why do you care if we also sign those players, the club aren't stupid, they won't spend £25M on a keeper instead of another signing unless they cannot get a top target

If they can justify it without sacrificing money in other positions then great, but is it the best use of funds right now? Realistically Garcia won’t get many minutes here, other than injury or suspension to Raya, Garcia will only get domestic cup games. He isn’t going to develop into the best, or learn jack ****, sitting on the bench, so he’ll need to go on loan. So, again, we’ll be spending more money on backup keeper next summer! Unless Garcia is a serious talent and benches Raya in his first season

For me it depends on the price. £25M definitely not but if it's £16M or so then I'd say absolutely, especially if he's gonna be better than Raya and TBF he does look top top

Who would the 2nd DM even be? An old head or a project? Because I think we need to keep an eye on some of the young DMs in France if it's the latter. Monaco have 2 of them even. I've got half an eye on Ife Ibrahim aswell. Inconsistent as most youngsters are, to quote Ben Mattinson, when he's good he's so so good.
Bouaddi should be on the list too, but probably to expensive for a non-starter this summer.

Damn someone must check on if United is money laundering because it cant be football agents they are spending so much on. 👀
There was actually the suggestion that something dodgy was going on with their transfers under 7 Hag because he signed some players who have the same agent as he does.

Should we be higher on this list? Is our reluctance to deal with super agents hampering our transfer business?
So you'd think we may climb a bit based on Berta's history. @Rex Stone probably knows best but I don't think Berta is shy about paying agent fees. Raul wasn't either so that may be a shift in the way we operate that hopefully yields positive results in the market.
