Will we sign an attacker before the deadline?

That's, like, your opinion, man.

Ill be in the minority but Rodrygo isn't the type of wide man i would like us to bring in.

I really wanted us to sign a pacey 1 vs 1 specialist who can help us in the transition and that's not really him, he's more of a SS than wide man imo.

I mean, he's a pretty good shot in him, produced decent numbers and won two CLs.

Oh, and I can't stress this enough: when he dribbles and carries the ball, his head is not facing the floor 100% of the time.

You need pace in modern football as an option.

Plus the reason we consistently face low blocks is partly because of how we set up ourselves.

Yeah, by controlling the game and being better than 95% of the teams we play. Issue is having something special in the final third and Rodrygo sorts that a lot

In fairness, for all our complaints, we're actually a very good team. I'm sure Rodrygo isn't gonna have that much of an issue performing against West Ham or Aston Villa.
The problem lies with the lack of space our style gives him. He's used to relaxed tactics from Ancelotti so he can joga bonito, but over here that stuff isn't going to fly because Arteta's a control freak.

Add the lack of defensive effort from him and it's not looking like a signing he would make.

Lack of defensive effort based off what? Or are you lying again?

Rodrygo would be a really nice G Jesus replacement ngl. Versatile player than can play across the front 3.

A SS type that can play instead of Ødegaard is very much needed as well. A guy that can play there and be a real attacking threat in the final third.

He's here already and he's number 29

I don't think he's from Germany.

Just can’t help feel a star like Rodrygo + a talent like Sesko is the right move.

Btw even I don't think we will get Rodrygo. It's an Özil/Alexis type transfer and id be shocked if we pull it off.

These days I don't get that invested in names, think the last two seasons have sucked expectations out of me.

So we are in a great position to get him, but you will still be shocked if we pull it off.

Your posts are all over the place Spray

If you get Rodrygo, the level of quality out wide will be so high you can go for who you want at CF imo.

That’s what I think. Rodrygo is a Saka level player who’d play on the opposite wing. Then you have Sesko who can develop into a box dominator who after half a season probably ends up our starting 9.

This however does not communicate a good message to new members. And I'll use what email address I like thank you very much =)

I'd expect a mod to keep that info confidential...
You're right, that was pretty weird from the mods to expose this info.

Need an answer from the mod team for this unprofessional behaviour.

Rodrygo is a good player, but I’m still concerned about him playing as a left winger. He tends to cut inside a lot, so he would need a dynamic overlapping left-back to provide width, but that’s not really how we play.
However, it might work with Gyokeres, since he often drifts wide while Rodrygo cuts inside.
I’d recommend signing Gyokeres, Rodrygo, and a natural wide 1v1 winger like Gittens or Semenyo.
For the 10 , we can rotate between Ødegaard, Havertz, Nwaneri, and Dowman.
