People like me who watch serie a he been a really consistent performer for like last 3 seasons.

Honestly if we can't get Rodrygo or Williams. Then Eze and Lookman should be the names that we have to look for.

I just don’t see it with him. Drifts in and out of games, below average work rate. Would be exposed against better, stronger defenders & the fanbase would turn extremely quickly.

Arteta asking for creativity but he sets the team in a form creativity is relegated by system. If you want more creativity you have two options in the middle. Play one DM like Busquets and two CAMs in front of him or play two pivots and one free 10 like Özil played here. You can't have Özil player like creating chances for fun and later asking him to track and press like he was Gatusso. It's simple not possible and that's why Ødegaard is looking poor also.

We can buy Wirtz but he would slowly show regress playing the way Arteta sets his 10 which is restrained to a tiny left zone where is difficult to contribute.

If we have Partey (or Zubimendi) and Rice just let your facking 10 to move freely to do their shiiiit.
