He looks a lot more polished as a player. Can create chances, go inside and out ect.

Nelli is a one trick pony (not to say he’s a bad player). As soon as defenders figured him out his numbers really dried up.
We shall se, if he arrives in Arsenal.
What maximum wage Arsenal should give him (if he arrives)?

Martinelli had more g+a than Vini Jr 22/23, in both absolute and relative (per90) numbers, so is clearly the better player.
We don't talk about Vinicius (who will never come to Arsenal), we talk about N. Williams who will probably come to Arsenal.
You don't think that only 1G+3A this season is reason for concern?

Clearly not but he actually was good that season though. And transfermarkt rated him at like 80 million.

I think Isak forces us into a Havertz/Jesus sale as we’d be looking at almost 1M a week on just strikers in wages.

The club will go for an understudy imo, I’m currently thinking Ekiteke, Sesko and Delap in that order.

Honestly I think Delap could be as good as Sesko tbh but Sesko is more proven at this stage. Would be happy with all three.

How is Sesko more proven when Delap is actually PL proven?!!

Delap should definitely be considered ahead of him.

I'd be wary of bringing in someone so craven he didn't feel capable of displacing f*cking Havertz!!

To be fair to him , his game was never about pace. My worry is playing in a league like Saudi, how quickly would he be able to contribute in the Prem

Why worry mate ? Its not like you're going to pay his wages.
I can't see how a short term deal until end of season can hurt us. We are 1 injury away from having to play with Merino up front every game. I understand your point but bringing in a player on a short term contract with all the injuries we have ,is really a free hit and a no brainer. If he can contribute - great, if not than at least we tried. He's gone after the season ends anyways .

Just to be clear, I don’t believe in this age thing but it’s an issue for A-M.

Oh for sure. Not just here I'd say in general nowadays that seems to be the thought. "Resale value" and all that.

Arsenal Quotes

No one could have imagined for a single second that he would come to us. Only David Dein, Sol, his agent, and I knew what was going on. When I called a press conference to announce the arrival of a new player, and Sol Campbell walked into the room full of journalists, it was a bombshell.
