If we ignore Fabrizio and Plettighoul then the reliable reports from The Athletic going into the summer said we had reservations about Sesko and Gyökeres was just as much in the frame as him. Whatever these talks were that Fabrizio reported on dont seem to have been anything too serious. I'd say it's still anyone's guess who their preferred target is.
