Yup. Olise is ridiculously good, he will dominate the RW with Yamal and Saka as the best 3 this decade. Nobody else comes close. It was always obvious how good he was at Palace yet we didn't even bother. His technical ability, dribbling prowess and vision is out of the world.

I am warming towards Eze in this respect. You need that kind of tekkers and ballers in the team and just fit them somewhere

Yep, it's going to be brutal with no LB who can overlap to help Martinelli and Trossard. Merino and Rice just aren't able to do that consistently to give them the space they need to do what they do best. Cala and MLS are far more comfortable inverting.

We are not linked to any creative players either to help Ødegaard and his struggles. With Ben White starting, he's fine, but with Timber he's a shell of himself.

There are a lot of concerns all over this squad.

Right which is why a LB overlapping is not actually going to solve anything. We don't get enough bodies in the box because we're too risk averse.

Watch Liverpool get in the final third and 9 times out of ten they end up with 4-6 players making slightly staggered runs into the box within the span of a few seconds. An overlap of a fullback when everyone else is either static or just moving laterally without penetrating the box is going to do absolutely nothing.

We need to not just attack quicker in the first two thirds of the pitch but also be braver in the final third and trust our spine to be able to deal with a counter if we lose the ball.

You are praising a stupid approach because you convinced yourself Arsenal is smarter than everyone else. Liverpool didn’t seem to worry about how much others thought they had when they signed Wirtz. Elite clubs don’t play silly games
