Gordon is few months older than Martinelli and has had exactly one full top level season at LW (last year)...which was still roughly equivalent to Martinelli's excellent 22-23. I'd say he probably has a worse PL resume than GM overall. If he played as many games for us as Gabi over the past few years I'm 100% positive we'd still be wanting a more technical guy in this summer. He's the kinda signing you make for 40m if his contract is running down, not dropping whatever bomb Newcastle would want this summer.

Yeah we can use Rice, Zubi and MLS at 6. And Simons can be a good option for Saka's backup

Don't see where Simons plays for us and would be a bit of a puzzling signing.

Only position that makes sense is left 8 but he's nothing like Havertz or Merino so what is the strategy?

Very talented though, at the same price as Eze it makes sense as he's 5 years younger
