Sesko has19 goals this season at 21 years old, he could take it up a notch next season at the carpet?

I know he’s got a cracking shot but does he have the physicality to occupy PL defenders for 90 mins

People acting like Partey is going to be an easily replaceable player here are in for a shock. He obviously has the off field issues going on, but when he’s fit and on form there’s not many CMs in world football that offer what he does.
Yep there is a risk we are looking to the decision to let him leave next season and regretting it.

Can we get Rodrygo out of RM? They have 3 left wingers, 2 playing out of position. Realistically, he's the one they'd most likely sell.

I tend to stay away from Football Manager-y, wishlist-y kind of stuff, but I've been thinking about allocation of resources when it comes to the #9 position specifically.

For the €60-70m-ish rumoured price for Gyok - I still think that is the deal you take, and what I would do.

I would also consider putting out feelers on Liam Delap with the view of triggering the £30m relegation release clause and looking to loan him out, with the top aim being to see if Sesko leaves RB and loaning Delap to Leipzig as the #1 option, or somewhere in the mid/top-half of the Prem as the #2 option.

We don't have a clear and obvious #9 coming through the academy, which means there isn't a pathway to block, and for around £90-95m we'd have the ability to build a forward line for right now (Gyok), whilst also giving us flexibility in terms of moving on Jesus and/or Havertz the following summer.

End of Summer 2026 Forward Line:

Nico (24)/Martinelli (25) - Gyokeres (28)/Delap (23) - Saka (25)/Nwaneri? (19)

Just a thought I wanted to write out to see if it made any sense to me, and to stop thinking about it 😂

They need to be decisive with whichever striker they go for and not mess around with lowball bids or waiting for people taking ages making up their mind.

There are too many teams that need number 9's especially if man utd get into CL through the Europa.

Can't afford to mess around this summer.

Only seen Ekitike in the two Sp**s matches but going on his performances in them, I'd much rather any of Sesko, Gyorekes, Watkins and J.David ahead of him.

Rodrygo is overrated was very poor against us. Martinelli is better than him. I'd rather we got Ndiaye (my preference) or if not Anthony Gordon as a repclament for Trossard.

Think we might go for Gordon.
