One of his strengths before he joined was supposedly that he was press resistant. YouTube scouts were raving about his ability on the ball and saying it was impossible to press him. People don’t realize that pressing in the Premier League is a completely different animal

It has nothing to do with his stamina. To survive in the PL, you need to be athletic as well, and that’s something he simply does not have.
I was against him, he was so average at progressing the ball in facking Spain when they have all the time of the world to think. Partey was miles better than him creating football from deep. MLS has a lot of the attributes Partey had thankfully. I would sell Zubimendi and look for a good squad to cover MLS

so far i'm happy with the areas we trying to improve they clearly want LW Midfielder and RB. it's clear these positions we have to improve.

i don't care about the names because we still in May and there is world cup coming things won't be active until like july. and there will be just weak links and not something to be taken seriously.

also Berta will really need to show us something about selling players it's not easy job because of the high salary of our players but he need to get rid of Martinelli Jesus and uncle Trossard also if arteta don't use Nørgaard sell him too and buy someone else he can trust or just replace him with MLS and don't buy anyone to replace him.

the issue if White injury like very serious will block us selling him but i can see us buying RB anyway.
Man you don’t learn… Trossard has a lot to give to this team yet. Even if he doesn’t start games he contributes a lot and recently he’s been a leader in the field. Stop that BS about “old” players need to leave.

We cant fall into these traps trossard might be has something to offer but he also getting old and we all remember that he really done nothing till recently.

Still if they at least buy one good LW I'll be happy

He was our best attacking player in the first 3 months of the season. All players will have cycles of form.

Also with the lack of availability in the market it's highly unlikely we get anyone to match his technical quality

We need consistency attackers we cant have players don't contribute for 3-4 months i respect Trossard for 25M he been hell of signing but if there good wingers to upgrade on him and Martinelli we need to do it

We won’t keep Trossard to start the whole season but as a valuable and experienced squad player that can give something else from bench and to play against certain teams. In football experience in very valuable. Having kids that runs a lot is not everything. He has done more than Madueke, Martinelli and probably Saka this season. If we have to get rid of some attackers then it is GJ, Madueke and Martinelli.

We don't know as fans that's why we have scouts and DOF if there someone can improve this left side area they need to do it.

Actually as fans who follow the sport we do, because it's not the 90s anymore and we have interwebz, there's:

Diomande - Bundisliga tax
Leao - Serie A tax
Gordon - less end product than Tross
Barcola - Ligue Un tax
Ndiaye - less end product than Tross
Minteh - less end product than Tross

You absolutely need to keep Tross because if you sign any of the above and they struggle to adapt you need someone to step in for them.

Who do you want?

Pragmatic to keep one of Martinelli or Tross depending on who we could get in. We need a speedster (but a better one) and a more creative player against low blocks (a younger one). Finding one player who can do both is tricky and brining in two players for the same position in one window can be problematic

Barcola for Martinelli

Godts for Trossard

Although saying that Trossard, has been such an important player, always delivers in the big moments.

Definitely need to sell madueke, he's been so average it's painful. He's taken minutes from both Nwanari and Dowman.

I'd keep Trossard for one more season and replace Martinelli with Yildiz./Barcola as a starter. Trossard's contract runs out 2027 anyway, and I feel his intelligence and clutchiness can come in handy off the bench as we go again for the major honors next season. For Martinelli we can also get a decent fee.

Bayern are moving fast in a market which isn't full of options.

Barcola being the wishlist target.
After last summer when we had Isak and Rodrygo to dream about - is some depressing ****.

Who are the ceiling raisers in the market?

For me a Neli replacement is most needed. Then a back up RB if we sell white.

Obviously I'd like a madueke upgrade too.. but well, hopefully that's dowman and ethan

Arsenal Quotes

In a football match anything can happen, the players, 90 minutes, fantastic moves, an element of luck, talent, courage, and touch of magic and, for those who are watching these men play, the search for excitement, for a memory, for a lesson in life.
