Anyway, forget all these losers. I like the look of this alajbegovic. Looks like he’s born to have a ball at his feet to me. That’s what we’re lacking

If we are serious about Alajbegovic then we need to move now. Bosnia will definitely be 2 or 3 in their group and advance to the knockout stages. This guy will do well at the World Cup so his price will only go one way ⏫

Are the Alex Scott links credible? Never mentioned him before because I assumed he was tied down to a long contract, but according to news sources, Bournemouth have only now opened talks to keep him till 2029. Arsenal need to be in his ear. That's the passing profile we've been crying out for if you want better transitions.
Sp**s fan - I suppose it would be a fun inverse of Sp**s signing endless Arsenal fans

I rate Martin higher, just my opinion. It doesn't mean I don't think he can't be improved on, but with signing Eze last summer, that's not going to happen. I'm fine going into next season with them two as the attacking CM options. Same with Kai, the Gyok signing blocks another potentially better and starting CF this summer. Priorities this summer need to be a LW and a LCM.
Who are your choices for these?

Very very talented but he is so raw he will need time and development. As squad option is ok but never a starter. Dowman looks more polished than him. We need WC LW and he is just a very promising project.

Alvarez & Vini. I’d spend the entire budget on just those two.

Kroupi & Rogers are 2nd tier as they’re high potential but not elite right now. Obviously they’re more attainable though. Rogers also isn’t the profile I think we need so I’m a bit unsure about him.

Wbu?

I just don't think we can get Vini and I don't rate Alvarez on the same level at all or at the 150m that's being quoted and he seems Barca bound anyway.

I wish there were top tier players at clubs below PSG, Bayern, Real, Barca we could poach like Kvara at Napoli, Olise at Crystal Palace etc but I'm not seeing them. Think we have to gamble on potential hat's about to break out. Not sure on names tbh

It's not ideal but market doesn't seem ideal ATM

A lot of people didn’t rate Kvara and Olise when they were at Napoli and CP. So don’t be worried about that, we need to take the risk for players like Ndiaye, Groupi, etc.

Thing is, those people didn’t know what they were talking about. Kvara and Olise were the most obvious **** to anyone with eyes. Was absolutely fuming when kvara when for 70 uncontested in January. None of the ones about at the moment are as good or as obvious as that for me

Dream for me would be Rogers, kroupi, Nico Paz in attack I think. Could have barcola on top of that.

Been saying I fancy Rogers on the left for a while and getting ridiculed for it and think we can sort a solution regardless. Everything about the physical mechanics of the way Rogers interacts with the ball screams Arteta to me. People saying he’s a turn over machine but I don’t think he’d be that at Arsenal. Players that best suit Arteta ball in build up are players who can protect and wait with the ball forming an attacking outpost for us to get forward. This is a big part of why saka has been so effective for us and Trossards limited ability to hold the ball longer in similar situations has suited us on the left hand side too. Way he likes to touch the ball and physicality+definition of pass and final action on the ball just make me think it will work. And of course he bangs goals on top that.

Nico Paz is an incredibly obvious baller 10 to me. That left foot is vicious wand. Has decent physicality and breaking power too and is very press resistant. These types of players like Cesc and ode and Özil belong at Arsenal.

I’d take a young prospect like this kerim kid behind him. That’d do me as a window.

I think Alajbegovic is too good of an opportunity to pass up. With players in his age group it's usually hard to know how they'll develop and I’d say it’s a 50/50.

With him though I'm much more confident and I think post World Cup there will be a lot more teams circling if he hasn’t already secured a move imo. He has a very high ceiling, comfortable striking or using either foot which is the sort of qualities that you’d want and has all the qualities needed to make it at a top club in the future. Nothing is guaranteed obviously but I'd be very surprised if he doesn't make it. The Italian teams are all interested after Bosnia sent Italy packing in those World Cup qualifiers as even though he showed bright sparks, I wouldn’t say that was his best game, I’m sure @Clrnc remembers it.

Alajbegovic is one for the future with huge potential. But we still need game changers right now who elevates us, the likes of Vini, Mbappe if Arteta fully stands by what he said in Budapest:eyess:.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Its fine to buy young talent like Alajbegovic if you buy with starting quality we cant replacing Trossard or Martinelli with guy unproven we need ready and already consistent winger.

Also isn't this guy going back to Leverkusen? Are they looking to sell?

I think he’s going to Roma tbh. He been linked with him a while and a Bosnian going to Italy feels close to home

Arsenal Quotes

"Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack.

A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith for Thomas, charging through the midfield... It's up for grabs now! Thomas! Right at the end!

What an unbelievable climax to the League season"

Brian Moore on the Thomas' winning goal at Anfield in 1989
