I mean all you have to do is watch him.Nah you can’t be putting up the numbers he has in the league.
Semenyo wasn’t playing for the Galacticos.
Trent-Arnold
Tonali
Goretzka
Gordon
We'll probably spend 100M on Elliot Anderson instead. We should look at Mamadou Sangaré from Lens. Been revelation this season in France.
Yeah I get it I think the club has accepted Arteta can’t develop young players and we will only buy ready made players. Also the most boring ready made players. It’s the reason why I couldn’t care less about winning the league. If coming years all excitement and skills are gonna be sucked out of our football. We'll probably spend 100M on Elliot Anderson instead.

Probably Lavia as Chelsea is rumoured to give up on him as he can’t stay fitLet the other clubs feast and we’ll pick up Chelsea’s scraps then we’ll get the “player x only had his eyes set on…” and “we can’t compete financially with that club”
We’ve all seen this already.

He’s good at spotting a sure thing in midfield/defence I’ll give him that.Yeah I get it I think the club has accepted Arteta can’t develop young players and we will only buy ready made players. Isak would never become the player he became if he left socidad for arsenal. I’m glad it never happened because we don’t produce many good players in Sweden and would hate one of the few good ones being ruined by ArtetaHe’s good at spotting a sure thing in midfield/defence I’ll give him that.
Sure thing in attack is a different ball game as by the time they’re a sure thing they’re going to be out of our price range or looking at other clubs and he seems unable to identify attackers before they become a sure thing. Case in point how he must have been aware of Isak when he was monitoring Ødegaard but but fast forward a few years later and now he’s your ‘dream’ striker.
This is one of the genuine reasons why he may be the guy who gets us here but not the one who can push us on. How does your club need a world class forward and the best you can come up with is Gordon?

I think a certain level of talented player can succeed in our system, maybe their numbers wouldn’t be as high but they’d still look pretty good. I think that would be Isak.Isak would never become the player he became if he left socidad for arsenal. I don’t mind him being a ‘if it ain’t broken don’t fix it’ type of guy, I think Kai upfront in 23/24 was a great plan B that ended up becoming plan A.Same thing with Mudryk tbf. We were ready to pay a significant fee for him which seemed like Nelli would be shifted to the side as they’re similar profiles in a sense then Chelsea came in and gazumped us which forced us to pivot to Trossard.
Sure it was a massive bullet dodged but if we kept the same energy in wanting to upgrade significantly on our LW then wouldn’t Trossard be viewed as a stop gap and we’d have still pulled through with replacing Nelli? I feel like Arteta does the same things the combinations I mentioned the other day, he’ll have something in mind then a player gets injured and he completely scraps it until he’s forced into doing so.
Isak has his flaws as well. He’s not great in the air nor is he in the duels. He’s also not a much of a presser. He wouldn’t do well hereI think a certain level of talented player can succeed in our system, maybe their numbers wouldn’t be as high but they’d still look pretty good. I think that would be Isak.
Where our system can make or break guys is the ones who have top level attributes but aren’t super well-rounded, guys like Gyokeres, Eze, Nelli, even Pepe, Auba, Laca were broken by this system because his system sucks at covering for players’ weaknesses.
Well he was Mikel’s dream target, I wonder if he would have changed the way we played or just expected him to slot into the Havertz role.Isak has his flaws as well. He’s not great in the air nor is he in the duels. He’s also not a much of a presser. He wouldn’t do well here
