Exactly. We didn’t lose a match with Eze starting at 10. Madueke still threatens down the right as good as anyone, and just needs to have composure in the final action, Gyokeres had zero space the entire season and scored 20.

Not saying we do not need a prolific attacker, we do, but we will win the league with what we have right now.

Even Abde Ezzalzouli with his £50m release clause at Real Betis kind of gives these lot no more excuses. If it helps, on Fifa I signed Barcola and Alvarez and we went invincible.

Williams or Ndiaye would both automatically improve our LW. They're both better than Martinelli.

At this point you just need to aim for that as we are already very good, we need some technique out on the left especially with Trossard gone, Barcola is not the one for that imo. We cannot just go another season with Martinelli and gamble on Tzolis.

Striker we would survive with both Havertz and Gyokeres another season but they are both decent strikers, we need more than that there also hence the Alvarez links. Outside of him, not sure what other options are available there.

I kind of understand the clubs dilemma at this point and resigned to the fact we might not sign anybody.

I don’t think it’s a valid excuse to point to the market and availability tho as this has been neglected for too long now. You can’t come up with the same excuse every ****ing summer.

We will probably win the league again (although I’m scared of Pool under Iraola) but in Europe it will be exactly the same and I doubt we’ll make the final as we most likely will get a more difficult draw this time.
