He's quality. Very limited currently though as he's only truly dangerous with his head.

No idea why Wenger would want him. Unless he develops a top class link-up play and passing, he'd find it hard to fit in.

If Wenger wants a promising young Danish forward, he should look towards Fischer instead. That guy honestly has the potential to be new Ian Wright.

A player that's slow but good with his head.
Yeah, that suits our style of play.
Might be an idea to get some FB's and wingers who can cross a ball first.
Where do these papers get their information?

According to this Danish article chief scout Rowley will attend the match czech republic-Denmark to have a closer look on Danish strikker, Andreas cornelius. Our scandinavian market scout Bobby Bennet has already seen him 10 times this year. And the interest seems to be mounting. He is a top target for Arsenal. And this newspaper is a local based (copenhagen) newspaper with a high reputation in sports journalism in Denmark...

Another player even slower than Giroud?

We should just go buy Benteke if we are getting another big striker as he has a better all round game than the one we have at the moment, don't waste any squad places or money on anymore slow, low level talent.

Yeah, that article basically confirms you're interested in him, they're usually quite credible.

Really wish people would stop judging this guy as "low level talent", "incredibly slow" and so on. He's not slower than Giroud, and he's much more physical in his play as well.

Look at this brilliant touch and goal by him. Slow and "low-talent" my ass. He's a physical beast.

The difference is Benteke would cost close to 20m and demand a starting spot. This is a young kid with potential being signed to see if he can make it here, I'm sure we will sign a starting 11 striker too but I have no problem with buying youngsters and building for the future at the same time. If we buy Benteke we aren't going to sign another striker so be realistic, would you rather blow your load on another 15m+ target man or put that towards a more technical first 11 striker?

Wonder if we'd also sign Yaya Sanogo considering he is going on a free. These two plus Joel Campbell in our 20-21 year old bracket of striker seems overkill

Campbell is more of a wing-forward I reckon, very different from the other two.

Ideally though, one of them would go out on loan. Bring in both Sanogo and Cornelius and loan one of them out to a PL club.

This pretty much confirms that our interest in Cornelius is very genuine now that Rowley has been assigned to inspect the player.

For me he's not an Arsenal striker. He's a big strong striker who's great in the air but quite weak with his feet. Bendtner was a much bigger talent but Cornelius seems more mentally equipped (obviously). His record in Denmark is very impressive though with 16 goals in 25 games being only 20 years old.

Benteke won't cost £20m if Villa go down. They'll be financially ruined and in no position to demand that sort of money.

Well first of all he will not going to cost a lot of money so i will not mind buy him he is 20 years old and he top scorer in the danish league so he is talented player, i know if we buy him we will have tow slow forwards but who cares they are slow if they can score a lot of goals.

Joel is going to become a wide forward I think, similar to Poldi
It will be either Sanogo or Andreas

It's funny that we're getting linked to these targetman-ish strikers. It must be the type of striker that Wenger wants in his system despite many wanting Walcott or a similar striker up front.

Recent years makes you think that for sure. I firmly believe that if he buys Jovetic, he'll be used on the wing. Quote me on that.
