Yeah, that article basically confirms you're interested in him, they're usually quite credible.

Really wish people would stop judging this guy as "low level talent", "incredibly slow" and so on. He's not slower than Giroud, and he's much more physical in his play as well.

Look at this brilliant touch and goal by him. Slow and "low-talent" my ass. He's a physical beast.

Seriously that was as slow as it gets and Giroud looked more physical in a stronger league than the danish, we have no need for yet another big lad as we have Olivier as what should be an option, our style isn't based around playing to a target man's strengths. We need a player up front who has pace, technique, vision and power but in that order bearing in mind we can't cross and look to play short passes and through balls.

Another player even slower than Giroud?

We should just go buy Benteke if we are getting another big striker as he has a better all round game than the one we have at the moment, don't waste any squad places or money on anymore slow, low level talent.

The difference is Benteke would cost close to 20m and demand a starting spot. This is a young kid with potential being signed to see if he can make it here, I'm sure we will sign a starting 11 striker too but I have no problem with buying youngsters and building for the future at the same time. If we buy Benteke we aren't going to sign another striker so be realistic, would you rather blow your load on another 15m+ target man or put that towards a more technical first 11 striker?

No I want us to spend on a technical and fast forward as we need that balance up front but Benteke wouldn't cost £20 mil at all even less so if Villa go down. What I was saying is that Benteke has shown more all round ability than Olivier this season and has looked good dropping deep and assisting as well as holding up the ball, heading and using his pace. So if we wanted to sign another target man it should be Benteke rather than another more limited player.

- Tall and lanky? ☑

- Blonde? ☑

- **** first touch? ☑

- Scores most of his goals with his head? ☑

- shirt #29? ☑

I don't know. I like the fact that he prefers the #29 shirt. It means we have the chance of not only getting the next Bendtner, but also the next Chamakh. Still, without the insane overconfidence, it just wouldn't feel the same.

Well, I can't imagine our interest in him have cooled off after his very impressive display against the Czech tonight. I think I'm coming around to him. He has some quality attributes and seems intelligent in his play.

My question I'd why Rowley would even go here when he should basically be stalking isco. Or jovetic

Pretty good goal he scored yesterday. Already off for the NT, scored twice now. Bendtner is going to find it difficult to get his place back.

Arsenal aim to capture Andreas Cornelius in summer. The 20-year-old FC Copenhagen striker has 16 goals this season & is valued at £5m. (The Sun)
