Good move by Liverpool, they’ve done what we couldn’t.

Makes them stronger in their build up phase as well. This improved ball retention allows them to play through an aggressive press into the space behind without the need to go over. That’s more ball control and better chance creation in the space behind.

This is my thought too, Zubi is a huge chunk of the budget if you have to pay 51m upfront that probably stops us signing a forward/winger.

Eddie and Reiss staying is what stops us from buying a new forward really.

Also, you can't buy him if you can't shift Partey without causing a problem. Having 3 number 6's on over 120k a week each is really bad resource allocation in a single 6 system
