Thought he took a bit to get into it but grew really strong by the end of the half. Definitely more low touch than Ødegaard though - although probably more to do with role.

Also thought Reiss was good again. Not a perfect game but he was trying stuff more and he knitted a few of the moves together.

Hm wonder if Reiss can play CF in Jesus's absence if needed

Zinchenko is ridiculous we played no game for almost a month and he injured.

They didn’t let Xhaka immediately back in training as he wished, but he’s been in Dubai and bought his family over in his little break. He’ll be back in training either tomorrow or on Tuesday.




I expect Saka to be given a week’s break too. Unsure about Martinelli as he hardly played.

No way Tomiyasu can play Brighton on Saturday New Year’s Eve, then Newcastle the following Tuesday. He should hopefully be ready by then.
