FIRST December 1991.
On this Date, was a League Division One match between Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ v Tottenham Hotspur ⬜🟦. Played at Highbury in front of a crowd of, 38,892. Arsenal won 2 - 0, Kevin Campbell ⚽πŸ₯… and Ian Wright ⚽πŸ₯… were the goalscorers. (Arsenal's Starting Eleven was an all English line up).

THIRD October 1992.
This match was Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ v Chelsea 🟦🟦. Played at Highbury, this game was under the New 'Premier League' era. Arsenal won the match 2 - 1, Paul Merson ⚽πŸ₯… and Ian Wright ⚽πŸ₯… scored the Arsenal goals. Dennis Wise had scored the equaliser for Chelsea.
This London Derby attracted a crowd of 27,780. A reduced crowd I believe, due to the North Bank Stand being rebuilt.

FIFTH March 1994.
Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ made the journey to Ipswich Town 🟦⬜, for a Premier League match. The fixture at Portman Road was one to remember, Arsenal won 5 - 1.
Ian Wright scored a hatrick ⚽⚽⚽πŸ₯…, Ray Parlour ⚽πŸ₯…, and an Own Goal ⚽πŸ₯…, completed the Arsenal goals.
There was another Arsenal player that scored in the match. Unfortunately, Lee Dixon scored an Own Goal. ⚽πŸ₯…πŸ€¬

Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ were up against Sheffield Wednesday ⬜🟦, at Highbury, in a Premier League fixture.
This was a 0 - 0 draw played in front of 33,705. Sheffield Wednesday had Des Walker and Romanian International Dan Petrescu in the squad.
I was at this match, sat in the Clock End. πŸ•’

EIGHTH April 1995.
On this Date, Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ were away to Queens Park Rangers ⬜🟦 at Loftus Road. Arsenal lost this Premier League fixture 3 - 1, Tony Adams scoring Arsenal's consolation goal in the 90th minute. ⚽πŸ₯…
QPR must loved to have played against us, having beaten us 3 - 1 at Highbury a few months before.

Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ were at home to Bolton Wanderers, ⬜🟦 for a Premier League fixture. A crowd of 38,138 were at Highbury to see Arsenal win 4 - 1.
Bolton went 1 - 0 up, Alan Thompson scoring for the visitors. But an Ian Wright hatrick, ⚽⚽⚽πŸ₯… and a goal from Ray Parlour, ⚽πŸ₯… gave Arsenal a 4 - 1 victory.

Arsenal beat the team from the North East 4 - 1. Thierry Henry (2), ⚽⚽πŸ₯… and Davor Suker (2), ⚽⚽πŸ₯… were the Arsenal goalscorers. Former Gunner Niall Quinn scored for Sunderland AFC.
The crowd of 38,039 saw two other former Arsenal players play for the opposition. Steve Bould and Stefan Schwarz.

In this Premier League fixture, Arsenal ran out 4 - 0 winners. The goalscorers were, Thierry Henry, ⚽πŸ₯… Martin Keown, ⚽πŸ₯… plus two goalscoring substitutes, Nwanko Kanu, ⚽πŸ₯… and Marc Overmars ⚽πŸ₯….

This was North London Derby Day. Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ were away to Tottenham Hotspur ⬜🟦 at White Hart Lane. Tottenham were managed by Glenn Hoddle, who was facing ArsΓ¨ne Wenger.
Arsenal drew this match 1 - 1. Robert Pires ⚽πŸ₯… opened the scoring, then Gustavo Poyet equalised.
The 36,049 crowd in attendance, witnessing a draw.

EIGHTEENTH December 2001.
Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ had a Premier League match at Highbury against Newcastle United. β¬œβ¬› It was a day to forget for Arsenal, as we lost 3 - 1. We took a 1 - 0 lead through Robert Pires, ⚽πŸ₯… but Newcastle came back with three goals.
A Bad Day for the Gunners saw the Romford Pele, Ray Parlour shown a Red Card just before half time. πŸŸ₯ Newcastle United were also reduced to Ten Men when Craig Bellamy was given his marching orders. πŸŸ₯

NINETEENTH December 1969.
Wishing Former Arsenal πŸŸ₯⬜ player David Hillier a Very Happy Birthday. David was in the Arsenal Youth Team from 1984 - 1988.
When David was in the First Team, he made 143 appearances, scoring 2 goals.
David then went onto play for Portsmouth, Bristol Rovers and Barnet.

TWENTYTH December 1980.
Today is the Birthday of another former Arsenal player, maybe not everyones favourite, Ashley Cole.
Ashley came up from the youth team and had a loan spell at Crystal Palace. When Ashley was in the Arsenal first team, he made 228 appearances, scoring 9 goals.
