We're ****ed until we have genuine success again and/or a new owner.

Probably need the latter for the former to happen tbh.

They were always going to catch up in match day revenue when the new stadium came online. They've grown their commercial on the back of the new stadium, however, like us they've tied themselves to some long term deals. Their Nike deal is less than our Adidas deal & runs for 15 seasons. Their AIA deal was an 8 year deal as well. Plus, despite all this extra revenue, it doesn't mean much if you still have big debts & outgoings, as we well know.

Being behind Sp**s commercially is inexcusable. We are a much bigger club internationally and are more marketable.

Broadcasting I don't really get, is it the Kane effect?

Match day is strange too but whatever

Imagine if you’re Saka coming in to training and seeing some of those bums on 100k+ earning ten times what you are

Also no wonder why Elneny loves it here so much. Back up midfielder on 50k a week.

Some of those numbers seem off, if I'm honest.

Strange they put Sokratis there despite him being released.
Agreed. The filthy rag who published the article is certainly not what you would call a tier 1 English paper. Still, Imagine earning anywhere near that at nineteen!!

No way Holding signed a new contract on £25k.

50k per week is probably way less than what our rivals pay their back up midfielder............

I haven't seen the figures but since the dawn of social media global presence is now reduced to international marketing tactics and partially down to success on the playing field.

For example Sp**s would have a huge pull in the Asian market due to Son...arguably the continents best ever player. Leicester have Thailand etc etc.

We have a good fan base in Africa, however I'm not sure we benefit much commercially out there especially with football kits as most I've seen are fake lol.

In Shanghai myself I see a lot of Madrid and Barcelona supporters - all down to social media approval. Having Ronaldo or Messi plastered on your back is the equivalent to them buying the latest tacky Dior/Fendi clothing for example.

Historical value seems to have little importance these days in my opinion. Clubs are run more like a business, fans are less emotionally attached and it's easier to switch between clubs.
