I like us being first up again, makes it feel like a bigger game. We should be looking to make a statement early. I'd be aiming for full points out of the first month, undefeated at the very least.
Its fixed. Look at Liverpool 4th time in row they playing promoted team 1st matchday . Maybe they need update thier system 😂I can only remember like 2 seasons where we haven't played them at home first, 2012 and 2021. Bit weird tbh.
Do fixtures that far ahead typically change a lot because of tv schedules and cup competitions?
That should really be 15 points if we're any way serious about top 4. Palace only difficult fixture and even that's a stretch, we won't have the same injury excuses as last year and COVID shouldn't be a factor like last year's opening fixture
Once you factor in the EL games, it makes for an interesting season.
But all in all, not too bad. We get a lot of the serious games out the way before crunch time, although City, Chelsea, Newcastle at the end of the season may be decisive yet again.
October-November will be brutal though.
April is going to be fun.
Liverpool, City and West Ham away with Chelsea at home as well.
If we win the group we go straight through to the round of 16 no?When are the EL's round of 32 games?
