I don't get this video, why's TDK not calling him the Italian Cygan like A-M has been doing?
Calafiori has been nothing short of a revelation in terms of what he's added to our team and more specifically our LHS this season. He'll undoubtedly be seen as signing of the season when all is said and done come May. All the good he's contributed (which is a lot in terms of passing, running, industriousness, knowing what positions to take up and space creation as well as attributes you'd expect of a top creative midfield) by far outweighs the odd time a tricky fast winger gets the best of him or he's just a tad overzealous.
He's literally top of every important metric compared with all other FB's in the league and either 2nd or 3rd in a few others. As a 22 year old coming from Serie A to a league Italians don't often flourish in, also factoring in our tough start, his time so far he's been incredible all things considered.
Like TDK says a couple of things to iron out, but remember Gabriel's start here was dropped for Mari and Holding, White was written off after his start, Partey was almost seen as a dud because of his poor 20-21, Havertz again almost completely written off this time last year and no one was convinced by Raya either. All of these players older than Calafiori but all managed to adapt and flourish, Calafiori is probably ahead of schedule in terms of really adapting, and I mean WAY ahead of schedule. I've no doubt he'll end up adapting even more and ironing out the few weak points to his game. Similarly to how Gabriel used to be, he's probably a bit too aggressive and proactive in terms of trying to get to the ball and get to his opposing player, but again he's adapting to a new league and the pace of it. But as TDK points out even the best FB's get done from time to time.
Hi everybody! Could you please help me? What is -according to you- the most iconic television commentary regarding an Arsenal goal?
I was looking at Bergkamp against Newcastle, on of the best goals ever scored, but the commentary was rather... boring? What is your favorite?
