So sad to see Balogun not even given a chance, not even on the squad, we have to keep putting up with Nketiah. Like I'd understand if Nketiah was technically good or had some other outstanding feature to his play but he doesn't. The guy can't hold up, poor first touch, not a fox in the box, can't dribble and has mediocre finishing. It just doesn't make sense why Arteta persists with him so ademently.
He's injured.

This isn't that obvious to me though. Elements of it are.
We won't know until we have fully fit team but White Gabriel Saliba and Ramsdale won't be dropped they'll keep thier will place in defense Rice will start Ødegaard too our frontline Saka and Martinelli will start as usual. The only thing we not sure is who gonna partner Rice and who will start LB.

Will be interesting to see how we start the first few games of the season. We crushed last pre-season and came out flying and by all reports we've been a bit "meh" this pre-season. Have we over indexed this pre-season? We'll find out soon.

That right because current injures its obvious when everyone fit it'll be
Ramsdale
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
ODE Rice Havertz
Saka Jesus Martinelli
Nope, Partey will play dm with Rice in the Xhaka role. Arteta pretty mush confessed to it in the post game as well, at least that’s how I read it.

We've had a bag of man play that left midfield position now as well lol. Those who don't listen must feel I suppose.

A part of me wants this all to burn to the ground just so the penny drops and people start to realise how much Xhaka brought to the role. I know it's cynical and mad but it's just how I feel sometimes.

F*ck. I'm turning in to you...

We will be fine, but it may require musical chairs or just making a choice and sticking with him until they get the balance in defence and attack right.

Central midfield is a grown man's job though, but people have had their minds warped by Cesc when he was truly an outlier.

Xhaka took tow years to get used to play in this role its not simple but he natural CM the problem with Havertz playing there we'll lose so much defensively rice did great job as 8 today it make difference when you natural midfielder

Thought our right side was very bad today before the subs. Saliba, Tomiyasu, esr, fabio, all pretty bad. Saliba was really off and he would have had a red card if it was a real game for that 2nd cynical foul.
If Inter are interested in tomiyasu like rumoured I would sell, don't rate him and he'll probably get injured again soon anyway. Also him taking 20 seconds on every throw in was starting to piss me off after a while, taylor literally had to whistle him to get him to throw ffs.
