The way our players refusing to shot when they have opportunity it's start making me pissed off. Mikel said that after the game we should punish teams but I'm still seeing Jesus trying to dribble keeper instead of shooting Martinelli passing when he should shoot all these things change the game. Look at Liverpool everytime they had opportunity they shot.

Think Hien have opportunity to go on loan to good club even tho conceded 4 goals but he been calm and good

Who even cares about a pre season game? Partey is cooked and we need someone to take the burden off Ode + a wide man/attacker.

The game hasn’t shown us anything we didn’t already know.

It's same BS there nothing new Mikel rightly so won't change his style it got him 89 points but it's time these players who not showing signs of improvement specially depth players they got to leave

I only watched the first half. It seemed we're still lacking belief in our style against good teams. Surprising to see people thought Partey did well, he looked poor to me. Really don't want to be seeing Kai in midfield again; just doesn't suit his game.

Not really relying on Partey. If we dont start the season with Rice at 6 and Merino at 8 i think we will get there pretty quickly.

Havertz gonna start the season in midfield isn’t he? We gonna waste another 3 months on that experiment?

Why would we do this, when it hasnt worked before? In a league where you have a team like City?

If anything, we have seen the importance of having a ball carrier and defensive midfielder in our midfield. As well as having pace out wide and box crashing upfront.

The biggest concern for me is not the need to get players, but rather whether we can get our players in time.

Its either we do another 8/10 signing or move a player there in game. Our build up is very important to our game, so I expect there to be a lot of focus on that.

We’ll still be relying on him as a player who will get a lot of minutes, if fit.

I don't think there is an issue with the build up. Also not sure Merino will actively participate in the build up itself. He is more of a final ball player. Our biggest issue is we lack a transitional threat other than Martinelli. High line mid blocks is our achilles heel and it can be overcome with behind the back balls for the runners. Actually this has been tried a lot second half vs liverpool but very unsuccessfully. Arteta is not dumb. I fully expect ( if things go to plan with the Merino and the outgoings ) us to bring a pacey winger or some inevitable clinical finisher.

We created some good openings but lacked the precision on the final pass or shot. Better decision making and we score at least 2 more.

We not relying on partey. It definitely Jesus. I really don’t get his obsession with this average guy. Every few games he will do a nice turn. But he is just an average nothing striker
