His helper is Rice. But no one ever blames how dead our football is on our 100 million midfielder
If a footballer needs his hand held, he is sh*t. If Rice cost 400million his job still wouldn't be to tuck Nelli in. This is one of the dumbest arguments anyone makes on this forum and it needs to die and go to hell with Hulk Hogan.

Even if it's a pre season friendly, the fact that we saw us dominate the ball and do nothing with it in the end is the big worry.

If we can't do much without a guy like Zubi on the pitch, then we shouldn't be dragging Eze into late August.

Getting him makes it so Rice can cover at 6 and we'd still have two guys who can progress the ball in midfield.

Just go get it done after whatever first sales we manage to make, don't let it be contingent on one of Martinelli/Tross leaving.

Kroenke have been on an amazing spending spree we first need to sell it matches their ambition perfectly.

It's similar story of last season we basically need Gyokeres to bring the goals Ødegaard back to his best and Saka stay fit maybe Madueke surprise us too otherwise it'll be same struggle facing teams that organized. Our left side is dead been like that since 2023.

They'll have to buy Eze we lack so much creatively

If we ever actually see a preseason game between Rangers and Celtic, that's when we will know it's time to just stop the football.

Playing English teams in preseason games is bad enough, but rivals like United and especially Sp**s... money grabbing ****s all over the game now.

Rice lack of any creativity on the ball is part of the problem. The left hand side is dead, but it’s not all on Martinelli. MLS and Rice both offer little going forward

Nobody said it's entirely on him but Zidane playing left 8 is not going to help him pick his head up or pick a corner. A better player would do better there regardless of any other issues.
