Missed all 4 goals thanks to the rubbish ppv. Only saw the last 20 mins with the kids playing once they stuck it on YouTube!! Can we get a normal TV channel back again?

Watched the game. First Lewis Skelly is at another level, He looked so mature and even with great long balls from deep. He is playing like Thomas at his best but without drunk moments. Honestly he should start. Tzolis is going to do excellent here. Dowman great as always. Nwaneri played well, he went deeper than Havertz and more balanced, helped a lot in the middle to cover for Havertz bombing. He is getting a very good player, very balanced.
Adding Bruno with MLS exploding right now creates ridiculous level of depth in the middle of the park.

I was looking at the pre season pass for watching the games but I’m in Italy for most of them and the pass states it doesn’t work in Italy. Would anyone know how to watch in Italy and if these are being shown by a channel/app over there?

How did Nwaneri play?
Watered down version of recent Ødegaard. Too deep, not many effective touches. Wasn't bad by any stretch but you're hoping for more knowing what he's capable of. I really think we need to see him further forward. That's where his best abilities are. He can play a deeper role but you're taking away his security in tight areas and his shooting. I guess this is part of his development with regards to this role

Additionally, Arteta was weirdly effusive in his praise of him yesterday so he was clearly impressed by something.

Either that, or he is in the shop window...

Arteta seeing MLS playing and cancels the Bruno transfer. Would be hillarious

How did play tacticly? Where was Havertz playing?

I did wonder if that was a test. In LVG’s first pre-season at United, he told all the players they could have a day off but if they wanted to come in to train they could. Everyone showed up the next day except Wilf Zaha. He ended up going on loan that window.
Late to the party but hate this kind of stuff.

Someone can be a model professional but still enjoy a day off if given it. There’s more to life than work ffs. Arteta’s optional camp was 100% a test

It could, or could stop his development if Arteta does what he usually does. If he doesn’t rotate his squad then it’s the same thing last season when he showed great level but every single game he lined up Rice and Zubi.

How did Nwaneri play?
To me, he played well. He didn’t play as 10, he played as 8. He was very balanced on his game, went very deep to play the ball and cover for Havertz who was the most advanced of the midfielders. He defended, distributed the ball and had a nice carrying of the ball. He understands he has to play deeper than Havertz.

He played exactly as Thomas played here. Nwaneri was deeper than Havertz. Havertz 10, the most advanced of them bombing from his position

Arsenal Quotes

Religiously, it is said that God created man. I am only a guide. I allow others to express what they have in them. I have not created anything. I am a facilitator of what is beautiful in man.
