fooled the keeper nicely on the second and they just took the p**s for the third :lol:
Lately Arsenal have had more experienced players at this level. Nketiah has already played at this level last season, as has McGuane, Da Silva and Malen. It's showing now, as they are keeping up with the stronger teams and academies at U23 and U18 level.

They were nice goals definitely - Nketiah really has the capacity to be a truly lethal finisher of the highest level, and he's good at making space to get shots away too. All 3 of he, Mavididi and Malen are really gunning for contention, and of all of them, Nketiah has the most currency where it matters: goals.

His movement is great also. But what seems to be with him it doesn't matter, you can almost put him in every different situation in the box there is and he has a plan how he wants to put the ball into the net!

Good stuff. Why is he not starting then seeing as our first team has mental and confidence issues.

Not sure if you are joking but this is probably the best time possible to give some youth players a shot.

A tad early for Nketiah really. He's scoring for both U18s and U23s so far but he still needs game time at U23 level IMO before he can be in contention. I would have said Mavididi is more ready but he's recovering from his hamstring tear, hopefully to be ready for pre-season.

If there is a 17 year old who is more ready for first team football, it is probably Nelson.

If Mavididi shake of his injury he should get chance at cost at some loser in the first team. What he was showing at Charlton was more than he showed at loan.

When players go on loan you expect they will struggle because it is different mentality game. But he actually showed more than he can do at u23. He somehow added dribbling skills to his games. Out of nowhere. What a character!
