Wilshere's chance was gold plated. A lovely knock down from Giroud. Was harder to miss than score.

It's human nature to an extent, maybe Wenger just can't get anymore out of these guys. We get bored, we get complacent etc.
Fergie used to change his coaching staff and towards the end even he started to stagnate. It's just...time.

Watching this side is a fcking chore. Can't remember an Arsenal side playing football this bad. Can't even see how we can score goals without rare worldies or deflected efforts.

If we can't score then we're going to be in huge problems. And tbh we haven't been able to score enough to compete at the highest level for some time now. We've just simply don't do enough with the ball when we have it - I don't see any clear attacking structure once we get to the edge of the opponents box. Today could have been any one of scores of recent Arsenal games.

We get many chances a game but we not ruthless enough that the problem we have

Well, we won't or can't imo. We don't create enough chances away from home and as we just aren't clinical enough. it's become a recipe for disaster. There is little variety to our attack, we're consistently weak in defensive situations. We're a team that is less than the sum of our parts.

It's like @Tir Na Nog said earlier. Posters are constantly moaning about players being sub par, like Bellerin, Xhaka, Elneny, Coq, even Sanchez. But when it comes to Wenger . . we always have an excellent squad that just needs a decent coach.

We've really not created much away from home this season. lots of iffy 1/2 chances. It's not as if we've played absolutely poorly but there is a nothingness & indecisiveness to our game that will contribute to us dropping a ton of points away from home.

Positives:
-Won a game after bad run!
-Had three academy graduates starting, Iwobi, Wilshere and Maitland-Niles. Bellerin also went through our youth teams!
- No injuries.
- Cleah sheet.

Negatives:
- We are still not creating enough dangerous chances.
- The unity and cohesion of the team seems to be lacking.

I dont' really get the complaints about Laca getting subbed. He always looks like he's fading when he's taken off. And he's always scored or had great chances to do so by that point so its not like he's not getting his opportunities. Hell, today if that had been Giroud starting and he had put in that performance and missed that chance everyone be screaming for him to be subbed.

We usually get some spark up top when the change happens as well, just look at the chance Giroud immediately created for Jack, that should have put the game away.

It's easier and cheaper to change a coach than it is to change a full squad. The players aren't playing to their full potential as well. So it's a case of OK what can we do differently?

Havent seen the match but reading the comments it seems like our finishing was awful again. As it has been for weeks now. Squad is lacking in confidence and I don't think it's helped by the constant rotation of our forwards. We need to show some faith in them.

If there is a keeper and defenders standing between you and the goal, I don't believe the correct term is "open"

Just my opinion though.
