Come on guys it’s just about time Wenger felt the heat. Arsenal fans have been too loyal for too long. That may have directly affected Wenger’s management style. He has become so so complacent. He is even telling us he will go when he feels the time is right. No accountability at all. Our current situation is a direct result of many years of dereliction of duty. Going into a season with club clearly needing players in key positions. Yet Wenger would do nothing until we are embarrassed. Where were you when we lost 8 - 3 to Manure. That was followed by panic buying of players. Some good and some clearly not.

Wenger has to know that the football environment is changing really fast. Social media is here to stay. Embrace it and engage with it. Use it to your advantage or if you are not willing to change retire.

So basically you'd rather our club be like Chelsea? Club that hires a manager to win the league playing dull pragmatic then sack him the following season? Never building a sustained philosophy and bringing through youth players?

I welcome a change in management absolutely but I dont want Arsenal losing its values just because other clubs have. I've been a gunner long before Wenger arrived because this is a special club.

I wonder what the process is they undertake prior to all the interviews. Personally I've never even seen them around the ground after a game, but do they just stand there and interview anyone who comes? It looks more like they coordinate with the fans they know (i.e their mates) and arrange to meet at a certain place.

It's a media organisation and they are essentially editors. I don't have a problem with the individual fans on it because most of them are just fans, albeit a few are 'celebrity fans'. I do have a problem with their editorship though, it's extremely narrow and almost cronyistic.

They used to just ask people when they first started. Me and a mate went to a lot of away games about 5 years ago.

Think we were at Sunderland or somewhere up North and they asked either of us what we thought of the game. I passed it on to him and I think they put his video up actually.

From what I remember they seemed normal guys, it was way before all this stuff became super monetised and all about views. Was pretty chilled.

Of course I've no doubt about their integrity at the beginning and i'm not making any judgements about their character. In principle it's a great idea, I just have doubts about how it's grown vis a vis popularity and the way they've chased popularity at the expense of diversity/objectivity.

They are usually on the raised bit behind the Tony Adams statue near the entrance to the Ken Friar bridge.

There is a huge crowd as you can well imagine. Majority is youngsters. There’s no way you could imagine just rockin up and having your say. Maybe you need to get there just before the final whistle. Probably a much better chance in an away game.

Yeah I agree, and I think that's what I meant. The monetisation didn't so much ruin it as change the dynamic.

Off on a tangent but for me, that was the golden age of YouTube when they came up, informative stuff that was more content driven.

I go on there now for sport highlights and the odd Simpsons or Curb clip. So many sh*tty vlogs and the like out there now. All been commercialised, AFTV being a prime example.

The fact they've made cretins like Troopz and DT into Z list celebrities is tragic.

Don’t really watch regularly. There are 8 or 9 videos uploaded today. Only one guy was ranting (as linked above) They seemed to represent a fair cross section of the average Londoner attending Arsenal games.

Do you have some link to a story about the criminal element mate? Had a google but couldn’t turn up anything.

What do you mean by more educated people? Are you saying nobody on this forum swears at Wenger or the players? Really? Even if they offered a solution to all this problem, who would listen?

Don't judge people based on their lingo and assume that they're uneducated. That's not right.

Both Troopz & DT are true Arsenal fans who spend their hard earned money following the team they love. Who are we to tell them they can't voice their opinion?

Like I said, if you don't like it, don't watch it. Problem solved.

I agree with you in principle, but in reality we already play dull ineffective football and we haven't had any decent youth players through in years - I'm not counting Iwobi or Bellerin because they are pretty much there by default. That leaves us with Wilshere and Ramsey as the last youth players promoted to the first team?

I had the same experience being interviewed by them before the game against Spurs when we won 1-0. (The day before Özil signed)

Chelsea has been playing better, more exciting football than us for many seasons already....... it is the elitist, out of touch "values" that people like you represent that is killing the club. I don't want us to be special, I want us to be winners.

I just think that Bellerin's been used for a scapegoat on AFTV ever since that Oxford interview.

They kept mentioning him during the interviews after the City games allthough he wasn't our worst performing player on those occasions. I'm not saying he did well, but there was no reason to single him out, other than them having an agenda against him.

To be completely fair a player we just sold, formerly the first name on our team sheet, just copped a 16 month prison sentence.
