Arsène Wenger: Invincible Documentary

Why is this a video of Chelsea smashing Arsenal, being posted on an Arsenal forum?

This forum ain't right...
A lot of people just hated Arsène more than they support Arsenal, I could see it when they cut Emery and Arteta slack they would never have given Arsenal. Brainwashed by the press smh.

If you look at the quality of players we've had since the invincibles then people will realise we were never really gonna do better than we did. All of our good players were mostly injury prone.

Dein can hold a room, just as well as Arsène can.

You can see why they are friends...both very similar people, charismatic winners.

Must have s huge blow for Arsène (and the club, tbf) to lose David, they both trusted the other completely.

During that period, when us and United were the big dogs...United did win the most leagues, with their money and a manager like Ferguson, that's expected to happen.

But the likes of Liverpool/Chelsea/Leeds/Newcastle, all had around the same level of finance as us...but the only team that could best United to a title from 1996-2004, was Arsenal.

That's absolutely tremendous work by Arsène and Dein.
Only team to take the title off Fergie without a sugar daddy and spending less than United. The xenophobes on AM won't give him credit though.

Just watched the film. Inspirational, nostalgic and moving. All credit to Christian Jeanpierre and Gabriel Clarke for some superb directing. The cuts and piecing together of different timelines and events worked perfectly. The contributions from past players were quite emotional and the interspersing of Alex Ferguson’s comments gave a unique perspective from outside the club. The Invincible year was impressively documented.

Loved the bits where he talks about his life over footage of him jogging through the leafy lanes around Totteridge and the toll it had in his personal life. And when he proudly announces that his greatest work was between 2004 and 2015 when the club was strapped for cash it was countered with placards and statements by the disgruntled fans. Then SAF interjects with the the statement, ‘All those years he kept them in the Champions League, the fans ought to be ashamed of themselves’. Perfect.
