You would have to think Amorim will try everything in his power to bring Gyokeres to Manchester. Even though they already bought two strikers.

And knowing United they'll pay whatever it takes.

attacking refreshment needed but we have enough numbers in attack we can't sign anyone else unless we maybe sell G.Jesus who in high salary already. if we manage to sell him give us chance to test sporting about Gyokeres but that will demand us to pay 100M .

can't see us doing a thing in january no matter where we are this season it's a s**ty window anyway.

Gyokeres wiping the floor with Sesko. The guy struggled against Celtic. Far from ready

If they were truly ambitious they'd be dropping logs in January

Feel like that’s why we wanted Sesko - price tag and he’d be a project, and a rotation for Havertz. Gyokeres benches Havertz and should be our top target since there’s no chance Newcastle sell Isak in January

many clubs went against signing Gyokeres because Sporting clearly want 100M and after his performance this season the price tag still the same the jump from Portugese league to PL is big you can understand teams don't want to take a risk. but likely someone will take risk because 1st they desperate and 2nd there no goal scorers cf in europe.

Keep seeing reports about a gentlemans agreement that would allow him to leave for round about £65M. You're never sure if these things are true, but the way Almiron spoke about him last night when dismissing a January move for him but saying his life maybe going somewhere else at end of season might suggest that might be true?

there will be surely gentle agreement to lower his price tag because he'll be stuck there he 27 next season and nobody is willing to pay 100M release clause.

Think Sesko can wait until the summer.

We need a winger to come in this January, particularly a left winger. Someone who can come in and bring our left side back to life, hopefully give Martinelli that kick up the ass he needs.

Hoping we can find someone to give us the boost that Trossard gave us two years ago.

I know people say well it's January you can't do anything. If we've got the money and the finances work then you drop big money on someone that'll make a difference.

I'm talking Leao, that level.

If sesko is available and he’s their guy. Get him first of Jan. You can’t last a season with 1 striker

Sesko is a bit of a dilemma, as he has all the potential in the world, but he needs the game time to hone his craft, so we'd need to be patient with him.
Gyokeres meanwhile has done all that, he's for the here and now, but perhaps has a slightly lower ceiling than Sesko.

Think we all agree a left wing is upgrade is needed. Are there any other options apart from the usual dream names of Kvara / Williams / Leo?

Red Bull Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko was reluctant to join Arsenal last summer amid concerns he would be second-choice to Kai Havertz.

Sesko emerged as a key target for the Gunners during the previous transfer window but the 21-year-old stayed in the Bundesliga, signing a new contract with Leipzig.

Arsenal retain an interest in the Slovenia international, who has scored seven goals for his club so far this season.

However, Sesko, it is understood, gave serious consideration towards joining in the summer but held reservations over whether he would be a regular in the starting XI with the Gunners making clear he would not be guaranteed to play ahead of Havertz, who finished last season strongly as a central striker.

Arsenal were minded to pay his release clause before Sesko’s initial hesitation became apparent.

Sesko currently has a buy-out clause of £55million, with the Gunners monitoring his progress closely ahead of the next two transfer windows.
Bit of a red flag if he didn’t think he could oust Havertz from the lineup
