I doubt we’ll get much choice. I think he’ll want to leave at the first sniff of a bigger club being interested. And I’d bet my house on there being an attainable release clause in the new contract he signed.

Oh he won’t go there. He would have gone in the summer but not now.

West Ham owners are just doing that trick of offer a ridiculously low fee which will get rejected so that they can pretend to their fans they tried to sign big targets.

So it really depends on how Emery set them up.

All the teams I mentioned including yourselves could easily lose or win 3 on the bounce casually. You’re new to this top 4 lark I’ve seen it for a decade plus.

We’d need over 2.2PPG for the rest of the season to reach the points tally we got last season. And even that could easily be beaten for top 4

That’s title winning form. Only Liverpool have a better PPG this season than that.

Unfortunately I don’t think that’s going to happen.

Top 6/7 is achievable.
If you’d offered me 6th place and last 16 of the champions league before the season started I’d have snatched your hand off

I remember people said exactly the same thing when we signed Pepe and we see how that turned out. He won't get them firing. He's a 2nd tier manager built for 2nd tier cup competitions and nothing else.
